Trump his on cognitive test:

These are tough questions. They say take a number, any number. I say ok, 99. Multiply it by 9. Divide it by 3. Add 4293. Divide by 2. Subtract 93. Divide by 9. What is your answer? I got it right. It was actually more complex than that.

I'm pretty good with numbers, so I was able to do that calculation in my head.

Until I got to the part I highlighted. 2202 is divisible by 3, sure (which is easy to see because the digits add to 6, which is a multiple of 3—that's one of the simplest tricks you learn when you're first learning how to do arithmetic in your head), but is it divisible by 9? Easy enough to find out, all in your head: divide by 3 (obtaining 734), then divide by 3 again. But 734 isn't divisible by 3 (see previous spoiler), so the correct answer is 734/3.

(Edited to add this spoiler.)
For those who'd like to see how easy it is to do that calculation in your head, here's how it goes:
  1. Start with 99.
  2. Multiply it by 9. Okay, that's the same as 100 times 9 minus 9, which is 891.
  3. Divide it by 3. Yikes. Step 2 was unnecessary, because multiplying by 9 and then dividing by 3 is the same as multiplying by 3. Might as well just multiply 99 by 3. That's the same as 100 times 3, minus 3, which is 297.
  4. Add 4293. Okay, that's the same as adding 7 to 4293, obtaining 4300, and then adding the rest of 297 (290), so you get 4300 plus 290, which is 4590.
  5. Divide by 2. Not hard at all, because 4590 is 10 short of 4600. Dividing 4600 by 2 yields 2300. Dividing the 10 by 2 is 5, so you subtract that from the 2300, obtaining 2295.
  6. Subtract 93. Easy: 2295 minus 93 is 2202.
  7. Divide by 9. That's the same as dividing by 3, twice. 2202 is obviously divisible by 3, but is it divisible by 9? Dividing 2202 by 3 is the same as dividing 2100 by 3 and then adding the result of dividing 102 by 3, so the result is 700 plus 34, which is to say 734. 734 is obviously not divisible by 3 (because its digits don't add to a multiple of 3), so the final answer is 734/3.

I would like to hear our friend Ziggurat's views on these recent comments by Trump.
I very much doubt whether @Ziggurat could do that calculation in his head, so he's probably quite impressed by Trump's ability to do it.

More Donald maths.

Trump: 18 trillion now pouring into our country. Less than 1 trillion in 4 years. That's 18 times more, but think of it, it's really almost 100 times more if you really multiply it out properly

I suspect, however, that @Ziggurat could tell something's wrong with the part I highlighted, if only he were willing to think about it long and hard.

When was the last time the Party of Personal Responsibility has taken responsibility for anything?
See, that's where you misunderstand, YOU need to take responsibility (or at least pay) for their mistakes.

Which is also why so many of us non-US citizens have such a low opinion of Trump. The US elects a child-molesting grifter, and he then proceeds to screw over the rest of the world by setting it on fire.

I assure you, many US citizens share that opinion.

And they were supposed to have the absolutely most foolproof multi-branch mutually checked and balanced democratic system in the world. I guess most of it involves sitting around and wailing and gnashing teeth while the orange bag of diarrhea spews his stink all over the world.

Donald is pulling troops out of Germany

The US Defence Department plans to withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany, amid a spat between President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz over the war with Iran.

The decision comes a day after Trump criticised Merz, who suggested the US had been "humiliated" by Iranian negotiators.

In social media posts on Thursday, Trump said Merz was "doing a terrible job" and had "problems of all kinds", including on immigration and energy. Trump has also suggested pulling US troops from Italy and Spain.

"Screw you guys, I'm going home!"

Yeah, we need to cut ties.

Also if a number is divisible by nine the digits have to add up to 9 e.g. 27 = 2+7 =9; 99 = 9+9=18= 1+8=9

2202 = 2+2+2=6; not 9 so not divisible by 9.
