The behaviour of UK police officers.

If you haven't heard of Rob Warner you should educate yourself. Known, originally, as Crimebodge on You Tube he's amassed a great body of egregious behaviour by the police. His rebranded channel (Copper Stopper) is here https://copperstopper.org/goodbye-crimebodge-hello-copper-stopper/. You must visit if you haven't already.

Anyway, moving on... we all should expect to be protected from overly aggressive mad men driving on our roads getting involved in moving fracas or "road rage incidents" as we like to call them. Right?

What do we do, though, when it's a police inspector, in plain clothes and off duty who is at large looking for trouble?

We're ◊◊◊◊◊◊ it seems.

If you though that you might be wrong because this cockroach was eventually charged with common assault!

It's a stick on according to all the hard evidence (a video taken by the victims g/friend), statements, radio convo transcripts/recordings. The judicial system will see him off. Wrong!

One handpicked judge later, a judge who has previous for going easy on errant cops and tough on civilian victims would find that due to the force concerned losing interview tapes and radio conversations between our inspector and multiple other involved officers the inspector was not guilty!

It was due to the defence of "self defence" (that old chestnut) not being "disproved". There's a good bit more to it than just what I've outlined here. Watch the video yourself and make your own conclusions.

Any supporters of the good inspector? I'd love to hear your opinions.

Despite the overwhelming vote by the HoC UK police continue to harass women over 'illegal abortions'.
It's worse than you think.

I believe that a significant number of the suicides, will be due to the behaviour of other police officers and staff, in particular management.

No doubt, but let's not forget to ponder, how many were driven to this extreme because of guilt or shame because they were under investigation?

Why ponder?

Here you are and it turns out - pretty much the majority, however you slice it.

Key Findings on Police Officer Suicides Under Investigation:

  • * 2022–2025 Scale: More than 100 police officers and staff (including serving and former) died by suicide, with at least 70 of those being serving police officers.
  • * Investigation Link: Of the 70 serving officers,47 were under investigation at the time of their death, and 173 attempted suicides were linked to officers under investigation.
  • * 2025 Data: In 2025 alone, 12 of the 13 known police officer suicides involved officers facing investigations.
  • * 2021–2024 Data: A separate analysis identified 56 police officer suicides between 2021 and 2024, with 34 of those officers under criminal or misconduct investigation.

And “The lack of recording means that policing is not currently regarded by the Office for National Statistics as an “occupation at risk”.” Hmm, how does it compare to other jobs?

ETA: https://www.bma.org.uk/bma-media-ce...-remembering-doctors-who-have-died-by-suicide

Suicide prevention among both healthcare professionals and patients is a key priority for the BMA. Alarming data reveal that suicide rates among healthcare workers have been 24% higher than the national average, with female doctors being one of the groups at increased risk. Data further indicates that, tragically, one doctor dies by suicide approximately every three weeks.

This one from the aforementioned Rob Warner. Young kid, not under arrest, gets horrifically disfigured after police impale his face on a fence. It's not censored so be warned, NSFW also.

Don't worry the officers concerned will have been entirely transparent about the whole thing once they'd seen what they'd done, right? Wrong!

They hadn't reckoned on professional standards getting wind of it though did they? They'd soon sort them out, right? Wrong!

Come on! There's no way they'll describe a lippy 15 year old getting his face stuck on to a fence inflicting horrific, life changing injuries as, "acceptable service", right? Wrong!

In Scotland the Counter Corruption Unit had to be disbanded, as it spent most of its time going after cops it believed were whistle blowing to the press. Then the Angiolini Report into how Police Scotland handled complaints was damning. When she presented her report to the Scottish parliament's criminal justice committee, she commented if that is how the police treat each other, what hope do the public have?

The Met Police conducts the type of surveillance operation it conducts on organised crime groups, on itself, the results of which confirm that the Met police is an organised crime group. Work mobile phones are tracked when the officers are off duty and it uncovers all sorts of misconduct and corruption.

I am shocked. No I really am - so few?

I am surprised that this story hasn't already been posted:

Nadine Buzzard-Quashie is now seeking millions of pounds of damages from the Met Police and Northamptonshire Police, and after reading this, I hope she gets it, even though it all ultimately comes from our pockets.

There is clearly something more going on. She disappears, abandons her car, the family report her missing. We don't know how she was behaving when first approached by the police. I'll reserve judgement until more facts are available.

There's quite a lot of description of the events in the linked story.

Sure there's some stuff we don't know. But we do know that the police lied about not having the footage of her going to the toilet, lied about stopping her car, lied about not having the body worn camera footage of her arrest, and were found guilty of contempt of court. Isn't that enough to be going on with?
