Trump's Second Term

And as I wrote in the dedicated assassination conspiracy theory thread, the accused gunman purported wrote in a statement about how lax the security was. And Todd Blanche is boasting about how the gunman failed to even penetrate the outer layers of the security perimeter. They can't decide whether they need more security or could have made do with less security. But somehow, ballroom.

Given that the gunman didn't even make it on to the same floor of the building it seems to have worked okay. Admittedly, if someone targeted had happened to have been going in or out by that route at the time they would have been in danger, but presumably they'd have secured the area when VIPs were on the move.

A tragedy worse than the movies!

Kash Patel: "Just to remind everyone. This was almost the entirety of the president's cabinet, the president and vice president himself, and 2,000 members of the media. This is something the movies don't even write about, this kind of tragedy."

Just to remind Kash; no one was shot. This was not a tragedy. Except for the would-be assassin, and his family and friends.

Did you know the reason a DC “Judge” halted construction on the White House Ballroom is that a lady who walks her dog by the White House complained it was ugly!?

AND THE JUDGE GRANTED HER STANDING AS A RESULT.

This judge sided with a liberal dog walker over national security.

The dog only takes a ◊◊◊◊ near the White House, rather than on it, so it has the moral high ground from my POV.

You typically have a completely separate entry and exit path for the protectees that is heavily secured and used only for them. You also have alternate exit paths for evacuation.

Just to remind Kash; no one was shot.
Some are reporting that Patel just sat there terrified with that same wide-eyed look he always has.

Aesthetic standing is a real thing in law. As I wrote before, it's the basis of zoning laws which are routinely upheld by thousands of judges all over the nation. The DC judge knows this because he is a judge. Rep. Boebert does not know this, not having a law degree. Or any college degree at all.

Putin will get the Nobel before Trump:
Sitting across from Putin, Araghchi was quoted as having said: “We have proven to the whole world that Iran maintains good allies and friends like the Russian Federation.”

“We thank you for your firm and unshaken position in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Boebert doesn't need a degree. She's more of a hands-on type of learner.

First Lady Melania Trump

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.

People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.

A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.

Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Given that the White House belongs to the nation, wouldn't any US citizen have the same legal standing as TACO in this case? Sovreignty rests with the people after all.

I don't care, do U?

Individual citizens or taxpayers do not have standing under Article III for these kinds of questions. The doctrine of standing requires an individual, particularized injury. Sovereignty rests in the people collectively, which spreads out the injury to the point where it cannot be particularized. Collective rights are meant to be exercised through the elected representatives of the people: Congress.

But that's why you need that one architect as the plaintiff even if it looks silly and petty. Because that architect can articulate an individual, particularized aesthetic injury as the impending result of the ballroom, they can sue.

Wasn't Trump whole case against off shore windmills in Scotland about the aesthetics and how they ruined his view?

...or perhaps underscore the First Lady's obvious, long-standing, publicly displayed dislike of her husband.

His monologue about my family isn’t comedy...
Eye of the beholder. I laughed.

Yes, and he lost because while you can have aesthetic standing, it doesn't mean you win on the equities. Just because power plants are genuinely ugly doesn't mean someone who lives near one—and has a cognizable legal claim—can stop it from being built. Pres. Trump wants to argue (although not in court) that the national security need means he gets to build a bunker and ballroom over and above what the people of the city and the rest of the government thinks. A ballroom is not a power plant.

From yesterday's interview

Trump: Charlottesville was all funded by the Southern Poverty Law Center, and it was done to make me look bad. I hope that one of your @60Minutes episodes is on the Southern Poverty Law Center.

How much did funding all of the Charlottesville rally and terrorist attack cost the SPLC? Did the neo-Nazis marching with swastika flags realise they were all actors being paid by the SPLC, purely to make Donald Trump look bad, or were they somehow hypnotised into believing they were genuine ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊?

JFC, you've been in the public eye for just about ever, and your husband is a piece of ◊◊◊◊, so yeah, your gonna get roasted from time to time; plus also too, you're not well-liked either, so ◊◊◊◊ you, and ◊◊◊◊ off into your billionaire lifestyle.

Not a cult

Kash Patel on Fox & Friends: "First and foremost, I want to remind your audience of President Trump's leadership, literally courage under fire. He's assembled the greatest law enforcement team that I've ever seen."

J. Edgar is anxiously fearing for his job right now. Sweating bullets, you might say.
