Nigel on MPs drinking at work.

The Greens are happy to legalise heroin and crack, but now we learn they think an afternoon pint is a step too far. Make it make sense.

Well. Allowing medics to prescribe heroin and crack cocaine to medics is entirely consistent with saying that too many MPs are drunks and drink on the job, which is incredibly easy in Parliament.

And from my one experience of having a half of bitter with a Friday lunch at a local pub during my master's work and then really struggling in the lab for the rest of the afternoon, it l probably is true that too many MPs are drinking at work.

I disagree with how far they are proposing towards legalisation of drugs (for example making GHB available in specialist pharmacies for adults to use recreationally, which I can imagine would make spiking drinks easier) but putting Heroin and crack cocaine available on prescription is a plausible approach to reducing the harms from the drugs to both the addicts and the wider society.

Given how many of Nigel's party/PLC act as if they were on drugs I would think this is a policy he would welcome.

Restore Britain would repeal the Gender Recognition Act.

There are men, and there are women.

That is all.

So Green MP Hannah Spencer thinks MPs having a pint is bad, but her party wants to legalise heroin and cocaine.
Is she suggesting she’d rather there were needles littered around Westminster, or is she a complete hypocrite?

Complained about alcohol and wants to ban it?
Bacon butty next on her silly hit list?

We know who her masters are apparently.

Meanwhile this appeared on my feed yesterday

I was surprised at how many people they claim have some form of intersex condition (2.7%)

Running the country is exactly like driving home from the pub. You can do it pissed and usually get away with it.

Or at least if anybody dies they probably won't quite pin it on you.

Lightweight! Back in the '80s, it was still entirely normal to go to the pub at lunchtime for a couple of pints and the return to the office to write some extremely dodgy code. Usually on a Friday, but some folks managed it on other days too. And at least two of the places I worked at had bars on site. As in many things, Farage, and the HoC, are stuck in the past.

It's basically the 1970s National Front, wearing a disguise that's just a false toothbrush moustache.

They get attention on here because Lowe is so spectacularly disgusting but I do like to remind myself his party is down in the noise listed as "Others" in the opinion polls. If they have any electoral relevance at all it might be stealing the odd vote from Farage's retirement home for clapped out Tories.
I think the disguise is, in fact, a Hitler moustache.
