As we have made clear, we will pursue global maritime enforcement efforts to disrupt illicit networks and interdict sanctioned vessels providing material support to Iran—anywhere they operate.

Certainly apart from the claim that appears to originate from Israel, little information has appeared about this. I don't mean the same claim being reiterated and echoed.

Iran having a nuclear missile has always been about MAD with Israel. Not about targeting USA. There is absolutely no reason to think that Iran would launch one or two atomic bomb armed missiles at the continental US, any more than Russia, France, India, North Korea, or China. Israel clearly leverages its threat to the US to keep the US under its thumb. (Which is the only logical explanation for the US kowtowing to Netanyahu).

Iran has always said that its objective is local nuclear disarmament.

Iran aren't fanatical Islamic terrorists. Far less so than the US being a fanatical christian terrorist nation. Islam has always been pragmatic. Iran has negotiated and agreed limitations on its nuclear industry in the past and stuck to the agreement it was the US that broke the agreement. Iran entered into negotiations with the US over a further agreement which was progressing, when the US broke off the talks and attacked Iran. You may call Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, but they are resistance movements formed in countries occupied by Israel. Israel carries out terrorist attacks and sponsors terrorist organisations, and is armed with nuclear weapons. The US carries out terrorist attacks and sponsors terrorist organisations and is nuclear armed.
