Does 'rape culture' accurately describe (many) societies?

I guess English is a second language.

The word "special" suggests it is unique. It is not. Whether it is in a monogamous relationship, or not.
Not following you within the context of what I have been asking. What about sex makes a relationship so? Nothing? If sex is nothing special, then humanity is objectively sexually free and no one should dare mention monogamy.

A functioning society needs the traditional family unit. No it doesn't have to be 100% traditional - but making a child and bringing that child up generally needs a stable woman / man relationship. Porn is a threat to that.

Do you agree?

Again, you continue with non sequitors. None of those things necessarily objectively follow the other. Humans like many other primates are not naturally monogamous. Still, that doesn't matter. Many societies still promote monogamy.

No to all of that.

Are you therefore affirming that demanding monogamy from one's partner is unreasonable?

What don't you get about "it's up to the people in the relationship"?
If it is the case that:
A functioning society needs the traditional family unit. No it doesn't have to be 100% traditional - but making a child and bringing that child up generally needs a stable woman / man relationship. Porn is a threat to that.
then, sure, it may be up to 'the people', but society will not flourish.

Your thoughts? Do you agree with the quote (something I said way back in the thread)?

No. I'm saying it is a choice of the parties in that relationship.
But you are saying that monogamy is unnatural, which implies that anyone who asks their partner to remain faithful is being unnatural. Is that correct?

Edit:
But you are saying that monogamy is unnatural, which implies that anyone who asks their partner to remain faithful is abnormal. Is that correct?

All human behaviours are natural. Two humans agreeing to be monogamous or not is natural behaviour for humans.

Humans have great plasticity which allows us to express and alter behaviours based on environmental factors to an astonishing degree, environmental factors include other humans.

What you appear to be considering a "traditional" family is the "nuclear family" - mum, dad and 2.4 kids in which mum stays at home only working in the house, father goes out and earns the exchange medium to look after the family. Is that correct?

My thoughts are, provide evidence for your assertions and we can discuss if the evidence supports your assertions.
If a majority of fathers went off and had extra-relationship sex, would that be good for society? What about if it was, say, 90% of fathers (or mothers for that matter)?

Let's assume their partners find out.

Those are still assertions trying to hide behind a question mark, not evidence.

I said nothing about 2.4 kids and occupation - just the biological fact of what it takes (historically at least) to produce offspring.

All human behaviours are natural?

The biological fact is that it takes sperm to fertilise an egg to produce offspring, which has "traditionally" meant some form of sexual activity between a female and a male. The rest is behaviour - which of course does drill down to biology, but then we can say that drills down to chemistry, and that drills down to "it's all physics!" I think a distinction that looks at the biological necessities i.e egg and sperm as distinct to human behaviour is a useful one in this discussion.

Please answer the questions I asked. No assumption were made.
You asked : "Your thoughts? Do you agree with the quote (something I said way back in the thread)?"

I replied: My thoughts are, provide evidence for your assertions and we can discuss if the evidence supports your assertions.

If you provide the data/evidence we can discuss if they support your assertions.

You said all human behaviours are natural; that's quite a statement. Are you holding to that?
