Khomeneini died in 1989!
Trump doesn't even know who he is at war with. This sometimes happens in dementia, people can remember things from long a go but not current events.

I've said many times that in his head it's the late 80s/early 90s.

Is there a site where tankers can be tracked like planes? I'd like to see how many are really rushing to the Gulf of America Mexico to load up.

just type in Ship Tracker - there are plenty, but it's not easy to decipher.
Whatever happening in the Strait, it's not the orderly passage of ships.

Be aware of sharpie marks denoting phantom ships in the Strait, or for that matter denoting a suspiciously wide Strait.

Yeah, not easy to decipher, maybe I'll have a go at it later.

I use the Marine Traffic app or website.
The free level shows you a live map.
Red ships are tankers, Green general cargo, Blue are utility ships like tugs, dredgers etc. Brown are fishing vessels and purple are pleasure craft (yachts)
If you make a free account you can do some customisation.
I'm not seeing many more tankers than usual in the Gulf of Mexico.
Here's an example screen shot, of the Channel.

Vance must be starting to feel if Trump sends him on a mission to make sure the sun rises tomorrow, the world will end.
