All. The other parties should be going in really hard on this fake lottery and forcing it into the spotlight. I don't think most voters will give much of a damn about the data harvesting, but the fact that it looks and smells like a fix and that the prize is absolutely not what they claimed it was is just the kind of thing that can get the public really angry. It's simple and it's absolutely relatable. We Brits like to boast about our sense of fair play, we need people being told that it's been offended and they should feel mad.

YES WHY DIDN'T STARMER START BUILDING THE 12 TYPE 45 DESTROYERS THAT WERE INITIALLY PLANNED?

A bit more seriously, and within this government's influence now. The Challenger 3 might be an absolutely astounding tank. But we are still only planning on building 148 of them. For comparison that's less than a third of the number of Tiger 2 tanks that Nazi Germany built.

Also I do think that Ukraine has shown that IFVs need to be able to fight other IFVs, which Warrior can, but the most of the other British IFVs can't, being APCs with rifle calibre weapons. I suspect that wheeled vehicles are better in peacetime than war as well.

And Ajax is cursèd.

But again, most of these decisions were inherited from the previous government.

One day the full truth will come out about why Starmer and Hermer were so desperate to give the Chagos Islands away and why they’ve devoted so many resources to making the Chagossians’ lives miserable on the islands despite them having a legal right to be there

Of course what they mean is Trump has 'saved' them, by changing his mind for the 5th time. At this point I say we find out what the Chinese are prepared to offer for them. I mean if you are going to have a military base belonging to a hostile military power there we might as well go with the one that doesn't keep threatening NATO.
