General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

Remind me what actual work Badenoch does? Aside from being the Westminster Village Idiot.

CFQ and I often reckon that Mitchell and Webb's Panel of Old Ladies would be a good thing, although we would change it to a former payroll/IT bod and a former senior nurse.

100%. Although I'm less keen on the idea of Prime Minister Joanna Lumley these days. I thought the Traffic Warden one was particularly good.

Reform UK donor runs company linked to sanctioned Iranian conglomerate - https://giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/actions/redeem/daecd1b5-aa06-4e9f-a332-404b567d0dcf via @FT

Link is valid three times.

A donor to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has a senior role at a Dubai-based company that until 2016 had business ties to a since-sanctioned Iranian conglomerate with deep links to the Islamic republic’s government.

John Simpson, a church warden and conveyancer, is the registered manager and shareholder of Dubai-based Orico General Trading LLC, according to documents seen by the FT.

Crypto billionaire Ben Delo says he's moving from Hong Kong back to the UK so he can continue to donate millions to Reform.

No billionaire is going to move from Hong Kong to UK in order to donate to Farage. The most likely reason is that the Chinese authorities are investigating convicted criminal Delo. China has the death penalty for large financial crime and his crypto looks deliberately designed for money laundering purposes.

So Ben, as a convicted financial criminal, what first attracted you to Nigel?

Delo also funds Toby Young's Free Speech Union

He pleaded guilty to financial crimes by failing to implement anti-money laundering controls within his company and received a 30-month probation sentence alongside a $10 million fine.

Last year Donald pardoned him.

Delo maintains a suite of offices called The Sanctuary, close to Westminster Abbey, in which he allows 'guests' to use his facilities for free. Podcasts, office space, networking events.

The notorious Triggernometry podcast, hosted by Konstantin Kisin, records from the Sanctuary. From which he told the world that Rishi Sunak could not be British because he is a brown Hindu.

Other notable purveyors of Ben Delo's generous office complex are: Rupert Lowe, Ben Habib, Kemi Badenoch [multiple times], Claire Fox [and her Academy of Ideas] and his close friend, Jordan Peterson.

Reformers, @bendelo, a remarkable patriot, has responded to Starmer’s unprecedented move to cap donations from British citizens by moving back here to donate more to make @Nigel_Farage Prime Minister.

This is what patriotism looks like.

Thank you Ben

From a grateful nation 🇬🇧

If he does move back, he's likely to not have pennies to "donate" to Fromage's company, never mind pounds.

There’s a ceasefire in the Middle East after a five week war, @GBNEWS viewers are very worried about the impact of rising bills. And what does our Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper do? She refuses to come on @GBNEWS’ Breakfast show to speak to them.

I am looking at the legal case to push for a Judicial Review against mad Ed Milliband granting the UKs largest Solar Farm.
Will keep you posted

Many of these museums - like London Zoo - are public institutions. Their management shouldn’t be charging working people more, to give discounts to those on benefits.

And the prices they charge are already ridiculously high for most families. They should be finding ways to cut the cost for everyone

Working people are being taken for a ride.

Under a Reform UK government you won’t be able to use benefits to get discounts.

WTF is he bleating on about now? Took the kids to the zoo because it's the Easter holidays and is having a whine because he had to put his hand in his pocket?

London Zoo is not a public institution. It receives no state funding. The big national museums have free entry.

Ben Habib(Advance UK) seems to want to go to war with France.

"The French can challenge us physically in the Channel. Let's have it out with them..."

Frontline American politicians are now openly saying they cannot trust the UK because we imported masses of Third World migrants.

“Suicidal”, says Ron DeSantis.

I agree. See Suicide of a Nation.

Sure these sorts of statements are moronic but they create a miasma that people can't escape and some of it is apt to seep in if you aren't paying attention.

This is a point I've made before about newspapers. Yes, sales are really down, but they still dictate the conversation on TV and radio and their headlines are on display in shops, petrol stations and supermarkets in every village, town and city across the country.
