Windows 11: What is this toolbar, and how do I make it stop?

It used to be notorious "user error" in early days when it did indeed try to print the screen, users often wondered what the hell was happening, PCs seemed to freeze, if they had a printer attached their printers would start to print out reams of pages often with a few "squiggly" characters per page and so on.

If is astonishing that it took so long for it to be redfined to mean "grab a screenshot".

Ah the good ol' days when frantic office administrators would call the help line in a panic because "my whole system has gone crazy".

Though back in the day the biggest worry was the printer running out of ink before we could kill the printer spooler.

Funny. I never remember this ever happening to me before Windows 11. And I have had a printer for some time which is often powered on.
