If we get the new fusion reactor up and running then we will be independant of having to rely on helium mining as we will have a limitless supply of helium as a by product of hydrogen fusion.

As they don't even know how an Ejection Seat works your guess is as good as theirs.
Sadly, breakeven is just the first and possibly simplest engineering hurdle for fusion. With 2008 materials technology, the neuton flux would give a working fusion plant a lifetime of about 18 months (according to an offline article in the IET magazine from then, which stick in my mind)

God... Anyway, it will be interesting to see if this latest deadline will amount to anything - the Iranians are evidently still not playing ball. It seems to me that a limited ground attack would be on its way, they surely wouldn't ship over all that infantry without actually using them for a ground offensive. Unless of course Iran capitulates but they certainly don't look like they would.

Trump on Iran: We sent to some guns. They were supposed to go to the people so they could fight back against these thugs. The people we sent them to kept them. I am upset with a certain group of people and they will pay a big price.
