Cont: Musk, SpaceX and future of Tesla II

Elon Musk
@elonmusk
Given that I have built two companies in widely different fields to trillion dollar plus valuations simultaneously, I am might be getting a few things right once in a while
"I'm very rich, therefore I must be _____." If you fill in the blank with anything but "rich," you've fallen into his rhetoric.

No you haven't Galaxy Nazi, you've just lucked out in that two of your idiot scams are looking good at the same time.

Is he that stupid that he doesn't realise what a problem this is? He hasn't even heard of model collapse?
Someone wrote an article a while back, suggesting that the Titan submersible failure was indicative of a mindset amongst the rich of ignoring the "bad thing" because it might not happen. Sometimes it doesn't and then survivor bias kicks in, reinforcing that mindset.

On the even hours, they launch another 60 tons of microsatellites to LEO. On the odd hours, they launch another 60 tons of debris cleanup satellites to offset endemic Kessler syndrome.
Kessler syndrome isn't actually much of a worry for Starlink satellites. They orbit at a low enough altitude that atmospheric drag matters. Without boosting, they will fall to earth on their own after a fairly short period of time. Debris pieces will deorbit even sooner. That's one of the reasons that they were put in low earth orbit in the first place.

How long must he 'luck out' before you admit it's more than just luck? Oh yeah, forever, because you will never admit it.

Not sure what these 'two idiot scams that are looking good at the same time' are, but Tesla and SpaceX aren't scams. SpaceX is delivering 90% of the world's payload to space, at lower cost than the competition. The Tesla Model Y was the most popular car (of any type) in New Zealand last month, beating the Toyota RAV4 which was previously on top. And that's without any incentives. The Cybercab is such a 'scam' that Lucid have just announced their own robotaxi design with very similar specs:-

The Lucid Lunar Is a Robotaxi for Two Passengers. This stripped-down concept prioritizes efficiency above all else

First they laugh at you, then they fight you, then they copy you. Tesla is trialing the Cybercab right now, and expects to start volume production later this year. Lucid had better get a move on if they want to compete.

First they laugh at you, then they fight you, then they copy you.

By that token, Tesla copied Waymo. Waymo provides 500,000 rides per week across 10 cities, right now. And Tesla is trialing its ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ copy? It had better get a move on, if it wants to compete.

Tesla .. expects to start volume production later this year.
But it won't. He is lying to you. And you swallow it, because you are gullible.

Everything he says is a lie.

Elon Musk's SpaceX set to go public in $1 trillion share listing

Elon Musk's SpaceX is poised to become one of the most valuable publicly traded companies in the world.

The company, which manufactures rockets, space exploration technology and Starlink satellites, is currently privately held. But on Wednesday it made a confidential filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an initial public offering, which would allow shares to be traded in the stock market.
