Cont: Donald Trump has 'dangerous mental illness' say psychiatry experts at Yale... Pt 3

Der Untergang
Trump has more plans for the ballroom than the Middle East,' Rep. Eric Swalwell says (MS NOW on YouTube, Mar 21, 2026 - 9:03 min.)
MS NOW’s Ali Velshi talks to Congressman Eric Swalwell about how Donald Trump remains focused on vanity projects as prices spike and stocks tank due to his war with Iran.

I asked Google about Hitler and his meetings with his architect Albert Speer towards the end of the war:
Meetings between Adolf Hitler and his chief architect, Albert Speer, regarding the monumental redesign of German cities frequently served as a psychological escape from the grim realities of World War II, allowing Hitler to focus on a fantasy future of architectural grandeur rather than military setbacks. As the war turned against Germany, these meetings became increasingly frequent, with Hitler using them to ignore pressing military decisions and immerse himself in models of a future "Germania".
Architecture as Escapism
  • Ignoring Reality: As German armies suffered defeats, Hitler continued to hold detailed, hours-long discussions with Speer about building projects, treating them as more significant than, or a necessary distraction from, the war.
  • The "Germania" Fantasy: Even while Berlin was being bombed, Hitler and Speer pored over models for "Welthauptstadt Germania" (World Capital Germania), featuring a gargantuan Volkshalle (People's Hall) with a dome 16 times larger than St. Peter's in Rome.
  • Nostalgic Ruins: The duo shared a morbid obsession with the "ruin value" (Ruinenwerttheorie) of their buildings—designing structures that would, even in a thousand years, look like ancient, majestic Roman ruins.
  • The Bunker Contrast: While preparing for his final days in the Führerbunker, Hitler continued to engage with Speer about architectural models, living in a imagined, perfected future while the world around him collapsed.

When all was lost, at the very end, in March 1945, Hitler issued the Nero Decree (Wikipedia).
The ruins of the Trump Ballroom should be left untouched as a reminder to all Americans of his time in office.

How The Emperor's New Clothes has worked out for Trump
Why Even Trump Insiders Admit He’s 'An Idiot' | Inside Trump's Head (The Daily Beast on YouTube, Mar 27, 2026 – 32:19 min.)
Michael Wolff and Joanna Coles dive deep into the most unsettling question at the center of Donald Trump’s presidency: what’s really going on inside his mind. Sparked by a revealing clip and Wolff’s firsthand time in Trump’s White House, the conversation traces a chilling throughline—from early confusion among insiders to the blunt assessment that unlocked everything, reshaping how those closest to power understood his behavior. They unpack Trump’s resistance to information, his aversion to reading, and the coping mechanisms that may have fueled both his rise and his governing style, while exploring how performance, repetition, and instinct can override logic on the world stage. Along the way, they reveal how allies, critics, and even longtime confidants struggled to reconcile the contradictions, and how those very traits may have become his greatest political asset, driving a presidency that defies traditional measures of intelligence and leadership in ways that continue to reverberate far beyond Washington.

– But then there's the other thing, that he has literally turned being a moron into an advantage. I mean, it's an almost an ideological advantage.
– Well, he hates experts. He knows more than the generals.
– Exactly. And the elites, who who is he against? Who has he most clearly positioned himself against?
And that's the the elites, the smarty pants, the ...
– People who wear glasses.
– The Ivy League. Yes.The people who most of the country, or at least a good part of the country, seem also to be against. So he somehow has come to, he somehow has come to represent the stupids.
– Right. And of course, almost the first place he went after was Harvard, which represents everything that he finds intimidating.

I'm sure we'll hear why he of all presidents deserves this
He said it himself. He is afraid no one will sing his praises after he dies. It will be easy to pry (prise) his name off all the buildings he's renamed after himself. And we'll most likely tear down the President Donald J. Trump Memorial to Himself East Wing Ballroom of the President Donald J. Trump White House and replace it with a more architecturally appropriate East Wing. But we probably won't be able to remove all the President Donald J. Trump Officially Licensed bank notes out of circulation after he leaves office and/or dies. So for years afterward people will be forced to see that pompous illegible scrawl every day and remember how great America was under his watch.

After Trump is dead, there is going to be an avalanche of books written about Trump's mental illness and how his supporters saw it as genius. There will be a LOT of comparisons to cults, and 1930's Germany and 1920-1930's Italy.
And like those historical precedents, an astonishing percentage will turn out to have been against it all along.

Declare them to be illegal tender, but with a proviso that they can be exchanged one for one at any bank branch for X number of years afterwards.

It's basicly what we did when moving to the Euro except the rate was €1 to £0.787564

Why wait?!

These images have never been seen by the public — until today. Enjoy!

Is 'megalomania by proxy' a thing? Or, since Eric Trump is far from the only one, maybe mass delusion is a better word.
I asked Google how mass delusions end:
Mass delusions and mass psychogenic illnesses typically end through a combination of exhaustion, the separation of affected individuals, the introduction of authoritative, calming information, and the removal of of the underlying stressor. They often fade as social contagion breaks down and individuals gradually regain critical perspective, sometimes prompted by external shocks that disrupt the shared, irrational narrative.
Exhaustion appears to be setting in.
Separation of affected individual is not possible with mass delusion of this size.
Neither is authoritative, calming information, since MAGA has taken over all government institutions and got rid of most rational authoritative people.
Nature has begun the process of removing the underlying stressor, which will no doubt contribute to the ongoing exhaustion, but it's hard to tell how long the removal process will take. It is also hard to tell if a similar stressor will replace the current one. The Heritage Foundation have several potential successors lined up.
Nowadays, person-to-person social contagion has been taken over by social media. There are signs that the contagion is no longer as effective as it used to be, and even guys like Rogan who got rich riding the MAGA wave are now trying to distance themselves from movement.
Many individuals are gradually regaining critical perspective, and the external shocks, like losing healthcare, jobs and homes, will be a wake-up call to many of the people affected by it.

Because Trump is lawsuit crazy. The turd is old and he likely will be gone within the next 10 years with any luck.
I doubt that he'll last till next year. People seem to have stopped fearing his lawsuits. So far, they haven't been successful, and CEOs are beginning to regret that they caved in to his threats. I doubt that Bezos thinks that the Melania 'documentary' was as good an investment as he hoped it would be last year.
Companies that care for their image are probably already considering how they can make themselves appear to have been a part of the resistance all along.

Trump is still able to subvert the system by threatening to block out show business deals to proceed unless the lawsuits are "settled".

What Eric means is that they let him sit in the corner and play with LEGO. "Well done Eric, we'll incorporate that into the design, now see if you can make a horsey"
