Trump's Second Term

Karoline Leavitt
@PressSec
Here’s what the Democrats in Congress refused to stand for during the State of the Union:

Putting American citizens over illegal aliens

Voter ID laws

The murder rate at the lowest since 1900

Keeping violent criminals locked up

Protecting parental rights

Stopping fraud

Angel families

Price transparency

Taking on drug cartels

No tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security

The most secure border in history

The contrast could not be clearer:

Democrats are crazy!

President Trump and Republicans are for common sense!

She will break down soon. Don't worry.

Crucial point:

Democrats didn’t sit on their hands the entire night. They very consciously chose exactly what/who to stand for, clap for and honor and what/who to insult, denigrate and dishonor.

Democrats all CHOSE to dishonor grieving parents and sanctify criminal invaders.

Trump's admin, particularly Miller and Hegseth, are champing at the bit for the US to nuke Iran into millions of square miles of warm green glass. They don't like Muslims much, and this is an "ideal opportunity" for them to simply remove a few.
The US post 9/11 has removed more than a few already
An estimated over 940,000 people were killed by direct post-9/11 war violence in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and Pakistan between 2001-2023. Of these, more than 432,000 were civilians. The number of people wounded or ill as a result of the conflicts is far higher, as is the number of civilians who died “indirectly,” as a result of wars’ destruction of economies, healthcare systems, infrastructure and the environment. An estimated 3.6-3.8 million people died indirectly in post-9/11 war zones, bringing the
total death toll to at least 4.5-4.7 million and counting.

Not far off the Nazi total for Jewish deaths (although I accept a lower proportion of the total population).

In all the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ and bluster, Trump will take a faltering step to supporting the retirement of workers without 401k plans by putting $2000 in their own retirement plans…
As hard as it is, I acknowledge that this is a good thing..

I did not watch. Was that $2,000 one time or on some schedule?

Given that large numbers of Americans surveyed do not have even a $400 emergency fund, $2,000 in any form could only help, if it does ever see the light of day. And does not inflate our deficit and debt even further.

The immortal visual of the entire Democrat party—upon explicit repeated invitation—refusing to stand for the core moral principle that US government owes its allegiance to US citizens and not foreign criminal invaders, is the most shocking image in the history of the US Congress.

When Miller typed "moral principal" did his finger tips blister?

401k funds aren’t very accessible and a 1 time payment of $2k isn’t likely to add up to much in the long run either in terms of retirement. it sounds like a short term juice to the stock market more than anything to me

BREAKING: Pete Buttigieg just totally dismantled all of Donald Trump's biggest lies during his State of the Union. Share this everywhere to make sure every American sees this.

Yeah, it's more of a "Let's give public money to Wall Street with taxpayers as the middleman" strategy.

All of these goofy savings accounts the conservatives keep dreaming up suffer from the same problem. Poor people just don't have much money to save. And as soon as poor people do start saving up money, they find merchants and landlords raising prices to snatch up that cash.
