Not if an ICE agent has accidently stamped on your phone a dozen times or taken it off you and 'lost' it.

Then it doesn't matter what anyone does, does it?

The article talks about how ICE can get access to your location and "cloud storage" (and delete the contents) while you use your phone, and how you can disable that ability.

The important thing is to be safe out there while protesting.

The interesting thing (to me anyway) is that the Signal app is mentioned in it.

All other comments are just my opinion.

Your mileage may vary of course which obviously a lot of folks here do.

I'm just trying to help by putting the information out there, and everyone can ignore it if they want, but that's not my problem.

This is very encouraging to me (I'm very proud of these kids), but many of the comments in the article forum prove (to me anyway) that the maga weirdoes are too stupid to understand or care about anything that isn't a lie.

If anyone remembers what happened after Kent State, you "might" agree with me that the killing of Good and Pettri just "might" have a devastating effect on ICE.

If what happened after Kent State is any indication, I predict ICE is in for a world of hurt. Maybe not right now, but in the very near future, especially after the midterms which the fat clown and his maga weirdoes think won't happen.

So that they are not stored on the phone. And/or if ICE get the bright idea of seizing phone for recorded evidence, or just start destroying them at the scene of their next attack.

That sounds very much like what professional protesters do, but I think most are just common, angry people.
 
if you want to protest, no need to be stupid about it.

Appeals to emotions have been tried and failed, now is the time for pragmatism: strike, walkouts, boycotts, sit-ins, naming&shaming, all with a strong net of support of friends and relatives and lawyers and representatives on speed dial.

If you go up against this regime, you will get pepper sprayed or worse - come prepared, and know who nearby has first aid knowledge and supplies.
