3 weeks past the deadline and less than 1% of the files have been released. bondi says protecting the names of victims is slowing the process, however the last release shows they have been redacting names of co conspirators and other individuals.

this is the original source for the wild epstein claims floating around lately. basically a guy named sasha reilly makes some pretty outrageous claims about epstein and trump. to my knowledge none of this has been verified, but it’s also not really going away either. seems almost too crazy even for this story

I just noticed that story today, seems to be really making the rounds on social media right now, with various content creators making posts about how they "believe sasha' etc.
I had a listen to the audiotape in which he mentions various instances of abuse involving Trump and also Jim Jordan, and drops names of others including Clinton, Putin, Lindsey Graham and Clarence Thomas.
Snopes has found no credible evidence supporting any of it.
As a skeptic the following red flags occurred to me, although I will say as a caveat that nothing regarding the Epstein saga would surprise me right now:
1) I am unclear about how the substack user Lisa Voldeng, who did the interviews, came into contact with this person
2) The victim, Riley, prefaces the interview by saying he is not afraid of being open and going public with these allegations. If so, it seems
suspicious that this person apparently has made no effort to tell their story to anyone other than Voldeng
3) The victim specifically describes how he violently assualted Trump (after he himself was abused) If so, and his accounting of various murders and rapes are accurate, it is surprising that he is still alive to tell his tale.
4) He clearly remembers that Vladimir Putin was mentioned as one of the 'party' attendees in the 80s, presumably as one of the 'Oligarchs'
Putin did not come from a wealthy background and would have been a relatively low level officer stationed in Germany at that time.
5) If his recollection of these various incidents is correct, there would have been many dozens if not hundreds of corroborating witnesses to them. So it is suspicious that here has been no independent verification of any of it.
All that said, they still should RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!
 
yeah that's probably part of the deal. but, even at that, there's potentially dozens of co conspirators, well beyond the 8 the fbi was looking at if any of it can be corroborated.
 
For all the anger I feel towards trumpkins who are desperately tying themselves into pretzels over this, I'm grateful they don't have the self-awareness to realize how they come across when they do so. Let them defend an increasingly obvious child molester. It'll just make people hate them and their Führer more.
