Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

i agree and i also think all these jan 6 mouth breather militia guys they brought in with no screening and training simply can’t conduct themselves in any other way. if they keep them there they’ll keep doing what they’re doing
I don't think the Trump regime is done yet. I think they just realized that Minnesota is a tougher nut to crack than they thought it would be. So they'll just switch their focus to another Democrat-led state that may not be as committed to democracy and community and try again.

Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey reports on his social media that Pres. Trump has agreed to withdraw "some" troops from Minnesota and is committed to further negotiations to remove the rest of the surge. I think they're starting to realize this is backfiring, that they cannot credibly portray ordinary moms and dedicated, compassionate public servants as "domestic terrorists."
Nonono .. I mean sure, withdraw the troops .. but keep playing the clowns on the TV .. it's doing wonders !

Newsmax is now reporting Bovino isn’t just leaving Minnesota, he’s being relieved of his command.

Bovino has met the bus wheels and they are about to roll all over him.

If they do actually withdraw and announce it as much, I think they'll try to say that Minnesota capitulated. Just as what happened with Denmark and Greenland, where Pres. Trump "negotiated" exactly the same deal that was already in place, the White House will announce that Minnesota has agreed to basically do what it's already doing—and isn't Trump such a brilliant and tough negotiator? Minnesota has already shown the receipts for its compliance with federal law. But Trump will say that Minnesota has now been brought to heel so the surge can be withdrawn.

Bodycam footage will exonerate ICE apparently

Jessica: This rush to say he was domestic terrorist.

Kayleigh: You’re rushing too. You have already arrived to a conclusion.

Jessica: Based on watching all of the video.

Kayleigh: Have you seen the bodycam video

Jessica: It’s going to exonerate all the agents. You’re completely right.

I just saw a story that the agents wore bodycams. Unless they show him brandishing the gun, it won't matter much.

'Clever Dump is tightening the front!'

Then he's not an absolutist.

Utterly irrelevant to the notion that officers may have felt they were enough in danger because of the gun to kill him.
Clearly not. If he were an absolutist, he'd be advocating for constitutional carry, like I believe in your state. No permits, no nothing.

I was not yet made aware that being an agitator or a protester was a capital offense in what used to be the US.
Nor that owning or operating a cell phone made you either one of those things. I carry a cell phone practically everywhere, and I sometimes use it to record items of interest, such as when a McLaren rolls up next to me at the stoplight.

And it may surprise Director Patel to learn that it's perfectly legal to organize protests.

It's Newsmax, so I'll wait to celebrate a very minor victory. Better still, dog killer is fired.

We have a nice blue state with a Republican governor who's not on Trump's good side. It wouldn't surprise me if Vermont comes next.

There might just be a problem if the "second amendment absolutist" excuse comes up again when someone executes a Vermonter, because the second amendment does not require permits or ID (not that applies in the Pretti case anyway since they murdered him before they checked for ID), and in Vermont there is no such thing as a permit. The Constitution also does not specify citizenship as required.

I'll believe it when I see it. And if it's true, the next step is to let Minnesota have access to all the evidence and bring charges against the murderers. And throw Noem and Bovino under the bus.

I think hell will freeze over before these things happen.

Edited to add: Now it looks like Bovino might be getting thrown under the bus. But losing his job is not anywhere close to punishment.

I hope someone is there to record the sound of the crunch.

at the very least i think they’ll have to try some different tactics. and they’re not the creative types.

anyway i hope that was the tipping point.
