And remember during the protests in D.C. that he cleared forcibly so that he could pose with his upside-down bible, he really wanted to shoot the protesters. He was told he couldn't. Now he can. Republicans enabled this. They knew exactly the kind of person they were electing in 2024.

He had a carry permit.
Americans are not required to carry ID at all times.
The officers engaged him as he was trying to help someone they had already assaulted.
He was directing other protesters toward safe parking places.
He was legally observing ICE.
ICE did not have the authority to arrest him.
He never drew or attempted to draw his weapon.
He was tacked and subdued by several officers who shot him after he had been subdued and disarmed.

Yes, he's been gagging to shoot protesters for just about ever.

Just as a gentle nudge; Trump was holding the bible back to front rather than upside down.

Perhaps the agent, seeing he couldn't brandish it himself, decided to help and brandished it for him.

When the reality is that it was so the government had access to well armed troops, since there was no national military at the time and they had to take control of state militias when troops were needed.
e.g. George Washington leading multiple state militias into Pennsylvania during the Whiskey Rebellion.
