There wasn't any liberty for the over 100 slaves he owned. If he or George Washington or other slaveowners who founded this country showed up today, I would tell them to go ◊◊◊◊ themselves.

Lies are all they've ever had. Even if that weren't the case, once you start lying, you can't go back;
you have to keep it up.

The MAGAPUBLICANS' tragic flaw* is that they're such poor liars: dull-witted,
unimaginative, repetitious, and scurrilous. They can only capture minds
smaller than their own, and (I hope) not even all of those. Their growing cruelty,
the inevitable product of their desperation, must surely begin to alienate at least some of the credulous faithful.

This was mentioned yesterday but it's a serious thing that shows how the Administration will deliberately lie and fabricate evidence.

If they will do this so blatantly, what else are they doing?

The White House posted a digitally altered image of a woman who was arrested on Thursday in a case touted by the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, to make it seem as if she was dramatically crying, a Guardian analysis of the image has found.

The woman, Nekima Levy Armstrong, also appears to have darker skin in the altered image

Unfortunately, the truth can take a long time to sink in. It was really only late in 1944 that Germans started turning on the NSDAP en masse, because it was only about then that what the party had done to the country had become unavoidable.

Now the current crowd are destroying much more quickly and indiscriminatingly than the nazis did so the turning point will likely happen more quickly, but the US will probably have to be as broken as Germany was to achieve it.

Bovino: “We work very hard with Department of Justice, with the courts, to gather and obtain those warrants,” Bovino said, mentioning his teams work for “several days” to get a warrant for one person. “We worked through what we needed to do to get a warrant for this individual. And you know, we’re going to, we’re going to continue to work with judges and the courts to obtain these warrants with those judges.”

In a video taken during the height of immigration raids in Los Angeles, Bovino exhorted immigration agents to be aggressive in making arrests.

“It’s our f—ing city,” Bovino is heard saying to his officers. “Arrest as many people that touch you as you want to.”
