Some people said they had various impressive-sounding kinds of immunity. I'm yet to be convinced that's any more than bluster, or has any force in law, other than perhaps putting the person making the claim in jeopardy themselves for encouraging agents to go too far.
 
In reply to the topic title, yes Trump's ICE raids have begun.

And soon he will raid the ice of Greenland as well.

The one where a Venezuelan man assaulted ICE agents with a snow shovel so they had to shoot him in the leg in fear of their lives. Remember that one? Well, turns out there's video that shows the whole thing was a goddamn lie and they shot him blindly through a door as he was trying to get away.

 
But they won't investigate a killing by an ICE agent.

I don't think there is a single ICE shooting incident under Trump that they haven't lied blatantly about.
 
Yesterday, ICE raided a home on St. Paul’s East Side. Their target was ChongLy Scott Thao, an elderly Hmong American man.

He’s a U.S. citizen with no criminal record.

Armed ICE agents broke down the door without presenting a valid warrant, entered with guns drawn, and handcuffed him in front of his 5-year-old grandson, who was left crying and traumatized.

This happened in sub-zero conditions, with wind chills near -30°F. Thao was dragged outside wearing only shorts, a blanket, and Crocs and marched through the snow.

ICE then drove him around for nearly an hour, questioned and fingerprinted him, confirmed he was a citizen and not the person they were looking for… and dropped him back at home.

Minnesota is trying to stop it. Do they really want murderers and drug dealers in their communities? Let that sink in.
