Why Are the Majority of Those in Hell the Poor and Oppressed Masses?

In a a hypothesis based discussion of hell and religion it's a fun sidebar. It may not exist beyond a religious construct that can nearly be dated but people believe in it. They fear it.

Dante holds rights to a most polished version but from a work of fiction and political commentary of his day. If he didn't like someone or disagreed with their sexual practices they got placed accordingly.

As far as ancient tribal conquests went the victor had stronger gods on his side every time. That's what they prayed for and wrote at least. They were well known to slaughter and enslave instead of absorb the culture they conquered. Islamic tribes, Hebrew tribes, whomever. The losers were always at fault for having something the conquering tribe wanted. Ask a current megalomaniac or two how that works.

Was she Karving her initials on the m00t with the sharpened end of an interspace t00thbrush given by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian m0vies: “The H0t Hands of an Oslo Dentist”, “Fillings of Passion”, “The Huge M0lars of Horst Nordfink”.?
Of course not. The people writing that have been sacked. (Mynd you, mööt bites Kan be pretti nasti.)

I'm pretty sure the reason is because Islam is a pretty unhinged and sociopathic religion, even as religions go. It's like Mohammed looked at Judaism and Christianity, and said "hold my child bride and watch this!" And forty generations of imams haven't been able to avert their gaze.

Jesus said no one goes to either Heaven or Hell until Judgement Day. I'm not sure if that's one of the things Muhammad incorporated as is, or changed, when he made up Islam. But I know Jesus seemed pretty sure the rich had less chance of getting to Heaven than the poor, so if Muhammad says the opposite that's a clear difference between the two sets of made up beliefs.

The poor and oppressed masses aren't in Hell. They appear to be hanging around my house getting drunk and eating all my goddamned food.
Tell them to get the Hell out and follow them to see where they take it.

I always liked Neil Gaiman's take on it "Hell is where human souls take themselves to be tortured until they finally realise they have no corporial bodies to feel pain and wander off somewhere else" (Books of Magic miniseries. Slightly misquoted from memory)
