Transwomen are not Women - Part 15

Your sort of progress is regress. Your language adds even more confusion to the translinguistic swamp.
"There is no swifter route to the corruption of thought than through the corruption of language." - George Orwell.

ETA: It's crazy enough having to undoublethink "transwoman" without having to untriplethink "transmale". Write fantasy novels of you want to make up conlangs.
point one. I use the term transmale in this thread to be clear to what I'm referring to, as people in this thread get confused with the woman part.

point two, I was referring to the judgement and how they were defining terms.

It seems your confusion is coming from you, maybe read peoples entire post before replying?

This is interesting. He's not the only trans-identified man saying this either. I have yet to see any confirmed report of a man wearing women's clothes, make-up, whatever, being attacked in a men's toilet. Not even verbally, let alone physically.

These protestations that "I'd be beaten up, I'd be killed!" are so much performative nonsense. Especially when referring to normal facilities at work or in normal communities, as opposed to dockside bars.

Wearing a dress in the male toilets is not even noticeable i think. It does depend on context though; pubs, lairy people might be an issue but generally there's always something weirder happening heh.

No, it isnt!

A loaded question is a yes/no question in which the answer always results in the same implication. e.g.

"Have you stopped beating your wife yet?"

Not all yes/no questions are loaded.

No. Why?
If you ask a question where you can change the answer according to the reply, then that's a loaded question.
Let's try a very clear and straightforward set of questions for you Thermal.

Do you believe that males with transgender identities are actually, for really real, indistinguishable from females in every way that matters?
The 'every way that matters' was not defined.

There is no confusion here.

TRAs know exactly what their ultimate aim is... i.e, a world in which there is no place that a woman can go, that a transgender identified male cannot also go. No women's groups, no women-only toilets, bathrooms or changing rooms, no women's shelters or rape crisis centres, no women's hospital wards, no women's clubs, gyms or spas and no women's sports shall be permitted to bar entry to them.

No amount of sign changing will distract them from going after this goal.
Do what I'm saying and none of that would happen? It seems you're wrapped up in the supposed fight about who claims 'woman' rather than seeing the bigger picture.

Well don't. You are creating even more confusion since transmen are women who identify as men.

I suggest you use the nomenclature that every person, media outlet and politician who is not captured by gender ideology uses

For "transwoman", use transgender identified male or transgender identifying male

For "transmen", use transgender identified female or transgender identifying female

If anyone tries to tell you this is pejorative towards transpeople, tell them to get ◊◊◊◊◊◊. It is the ONLY nomenclature that accurately describes observable, objective, scientific reality, and that calling biological males "transwomen" is pejorative and deeply insulting to all actual women

Nope. It hasn't worked so far because it can never work.

The more you confuse language by trying to define sex and gender seperately, the more openings you leave for perfdious actors to target the language for theor own purposes.

If you ask a question where you can change the answer according to the reply, then that's a loaded question.

Wrong!

"A loaded question is a form of complex question that contains a controversial assumption (e.g., a presumption of guilt)."

Importantly, with a loaded question, it is always the case that no matter whether the respondent answers "yes" or "no", the assumption is confirmed.

The question @Emily's Cat asked was...

"Do you believe that males with transgender identities are actually, for really real, indistinguishable from females in every way that matters?"

In the classic example of a loaded question... "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?", the controversial assumption is that the respondent does actually beat his wife. There is no such controversial assumption in @Emily's Cat's question. The answer "yes" will lead to a different conclusion from that which the answer "no" will lead to‎ - ergo, the question was not loaded! Q.E.D.
‎
Additionally, there was no need to define "what matters", because the way the question is framed, the inquirer leaves "what matters" open for the respondent to suggest.

Josepine Bartosch does not mince her words!!

Ultimately, the allegations about Henderson’s behaviour should be beside the point. Nor should the nurses ever have been required to parade personal trauma to justify not wanting to change in front of a man. Single-sex spaces exist not because women are prudes, but because a minority of men are predators. This was acknowledged by the tribunal, which found that compelling women to change in front of a biological male “violated their dignity … by failing to respect their personal bodily privacy and sense of dignity” and was likely to cause “fear, distress and/or humiliation”. What the tribunal did not say is the more direct and impolite truth: whether he sports frilly knickers or knackered boxer shorts, a man who insists on forcing his way into women’s space is not challenging stereotypes; he is identifying himself as a risk.

Predictably, this judicial recalibration in favour of women’s rights provoked outrage among those who boast of being on the right side of history. The “anti-establishment” tax lawyer Jolyon Maugham KC whined that the ruling “demonstrates pretty clearly that whatever else the Supreme Court delivered it did not deliver clarity.” Meanwhile, former presenter India Willoughby stamped his size 10s, claiming that “the equivalent of playground mean girl terfs are championed by a UK court — who say THEIR dignity was violated by being near a woman who is trans”, before insisting that it was in fact the women who had been “doing the harassing and being vile”.

To such trans supremacists, anything short of women’s total capitulation to men’s demands is intolerable. It does not trouble them if women are pushed out of public space, forced to relive sexual trauma, or made to spend their working lives fearful and humiliated. In this they have been ably assisted by legions of human resources professionals and managers, for whom women’s safety is, at best, an inconvenience and, at worst, acceptable collateral in the gender jihad.

*sees it's balls deep in word games again*
Nearly every attempt to push trans rights forward proceeded through word games, especially via the courts. For example, rights groups have argued that laws originally designed to combat sex discrimination against females can be reinterpreted to tell us that it is now illegal to set aside spaces or leagues for females, because doing so discriminates against males who think of themselves as females.

Is there an echo in here? (It's good enough to quote twice, mind you.)
