For what it's worth, the ACA does have rather distinct problems that are well worth addressing and quite deserve proper attention. That particular complaint? Even without more direct explanation of some important factors, which the reply overstates a bit, it's worthless. Its fallacious nature is just that serious. The numbers invoked mean virtually nothing at all without real context to compare. It's much like complaining that the amount that one spent on cake was so much more this month than last as if it was proof of anything without more context about how many cakes, what kinds of cakes, what size cakes, what the prices were, where they were bought, and so on. There so much room for error and dishonesty that it is impossible to treat that argument as reasonable on its own merit.

Raphael Warnock was on Meet the Fake Press with a one sided and very biased Kristen Welker as the Host(ess!). Warnock spent the entire show using Religion to try and divide the Country! If a Republican, in particular ME, made those statements, it would be FRONT PAGE NEWS. He ended by saying that he was going to his Church to preach now, and while I think that's fine, I do say, "What ever happened to separation of Church and State?" That would be the first thing they would use against us but, actually, it's something that never much bothered me. Anyway, Warnock is a LIGHTWEIGHT whose wife correctly states that he tried to run her over with a car. Fortunately, she was able to get out of the way, and only almost lost her foot. Warnock is a bad guy, and NBC News, which is second only to ABC Fake News for being the worst, should be ashamed of themselves in allowing garbage "interviews" with untalented and uncaring people to take place.

The Public airwaves, which these Networks are using at no charge, should not be allowed to get away with this any longer! They should be properly licensed, and pay significant amounts of money for using this very valuable Public space. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAGA!

But three years from now, or seven years from now, or twelve years from now, this intermediate period will end.

Here’s what I can tell you: If we get lucky enough save democracy, then the people who did this to America—the people who excused, and covered, and enabled Trump’s autocratic attempt—will take it as proof that Trump was never a real danger to begin with.

Look how overwrought you were, they’ll say. You spent a decade telling us that Trump was trying to overturn democracy. But the fact that we don’t live in a dictatorship proves that Trump was normal and that we should never listen to you hysterics.

Our success will be used to discredit us, like a quantum theory of suicide:1 If democracy survives, then that is proof that it was never under threat in the first place.

That’s just something for you to meditate on this holiday season. The people who did this to America will never pay a price. And if we defeat them, our success will be used as an argument against us.

It will be an approximation of our post-COVID experience. The Americans who made it through COVID took their survival as proof that the pandemic was never that serious and the real villains were the people and protocols that saved, and thereby inconvenienced, them.
