Let me take one post to rant a little about Pete Hoekstra, Trump's ambassador to Canada. He probably doesn't make a lot of news outside of Canada but he does his best.

While he might not be in the running for the dumbest MAGA of all time, he might be the biggest jackass. He seems to think being an ambassador involves jetting around the country, giving speeches insulting its leadership, its people, its culture and customs. He's gone on expletive laden rants against Canada's trade representatives for not being thankful enough for the tariffs currently running roughshod over our economy and tried to justify it by suggesting that we are just being mean by not bending over for whatever dear Donald wants.

He simply cannot understand our anger at the fact that america's chilidsh gun fetishism leads to blood on our streets with over 90% of the guns used in crimes here being of US origin. He cannot fathom why we aren't jumping at the chance to become the 51st state and have our children gunned down in schools while thousands of working people live in their cars or tents.

I would love nothing more than for him to be expelled. His presence here serves no purpose whatsoever.

While I agree on most points and sympathize greatly, I do take issue with the highlighted part. At least he's there not here. Until we can legally fire him into outer space, we'll have to settle for it, and thank you for your service.

Not content with the political, economic and environmental harm they're inflicting, MAGA now have to dishonour the name of a Stoke City legend.

They really do ruin everything they touch.
 
Van Epps, the GOP candidate for that special election in Tennessee being held tomorrow was to hold a rally today to drum up support in a district that went for Trump by 22 points in 2024.

Initially planned to be in a public location, the rally was moved...

....Into a gated mansion, with heavy police and security. Locals were not allowed into the rally.
