Trump's Second Term

GOP Sen. Bernie Moreno introduced a bill that would force any U.S. citizen with dual citizenship to choose one citizenship. Anyone who seeks a new foreign citizenship in the future would automatically lose their U.S. citizenship.

Current dual citizens would have one year to either renounce their foreign citizenship or notify DHS that they plan to give up their U.S. citizenship. Those who don’t comply would be treated as having relinquished it

Is that constitutional? There are plenty of people who get dual citizenship by default because their parent happened to be in the US when they were born. I guess it's no big deal for most that an unasked-for right gets taken away but it's an odd thing to gift citizenship and then resentfully snatch it away as if they weren't entitled.

However, there is no way to march 40 million immigrants to courts and demand to know how many citizenships they hold. There is no need to hold a passport to be a citizen. I have a social security number from birth and it never changes. It does not even say if I am still a citizen or not. These are not public record. Many countries have a sort of "on hold" situation where you are no longer a resident. You may be able to vote on some election if living in the US, usually a bit complicated. When you return to your country of birth, most times it only takes a few weeks to restore full rights and residency. Even if you lost it at some point.

Because survivors of a boat that has just been blown up by a missile are such a threat and csn run across the water.

He is a plumbing company owner and has never served a day in the military. But, he’s a loyal little doormat for Donald.

Markwayne Mullin defends Hegseth: "If there was a second strike, it wouldn't be to just simply take out the survivors. It's because there was still a threat or opportunity for them to run."

Well, it coulda been a really ugly situation...

Trump: "Under Boot Edge Edge -- another grossly incompetent. Get on his bicycle, ride to work. He was just terrible. What they do is they take the fiber optics and they take fiber, try to hook it into copper. And fiber and copper don't mix. You can't do it. But people knew that for the last 30 years since they started doing the fiber. And uhhh, they spent billions of dollars and it didn't work. And you saw that by the helicopter crash. You saw that into the plane. You saw that by a lot of things."

I'm American but have dual citizenship. ◊◊◊◊! This is so not cool. So now I might have to make a decision? Bull crap.

Maybe I've not been paying enough attention. Why the ◊◊◊◊ is he jumping on fiber optics now?

Aced it

Trump: "I took my physical. I got all As. Everything. But they said to me, 'would you like to take a cognitive test?' I said, 'Is it hard?' They said, 'yes.' I said, 'Well, I'm a very smart person. Who was the last president to take one?' 'No president has ever agreed to take one' ... I aced it."
