Yes and no. The people are all there, including the Trump Supreme Court. But the party has no leader. Trump is too selfish to allow anyone to make any headway to be THE CANDIDATE. None will emerge by 2028. Not Vance for sure.

So I just had a browse on Flightradar24 to see what was going on and the current Most Watched flight in the world are those presently in the air over Venezuela. I guess that's not a surprise.

Declaring a no-fly zone over another country; that's escalating the political slanging match more than a bit.

<edit> Curious. While I was typing this, the airliner I happened to be following disappeared from Flightradar24. I'm sure it's nothing. I mean it sounds melodramatic, but scarcely likely to be anything but a glitch.

If I was an ordinary Venezuelan and planning to fly to see family for Christmas, I'd be royally pissed off that the orange man-baby said my entire country can't have planes any more because his country's citizens buy their drugs from some criminals in my country and he needs to look like he's doing something.

Look, Trumps fellow populist Maduro is having some pushback, and Trump himself is also losing ratings.
What better way to unite both countries then something like this?
Maduro can now push all discontent on Trump's actions, and Trump can claim victories by having the largest military in the world shoot unarmed fishermen.
