Trump's Second Term

Grass, beef and smoothies.

Trump: "Despite their size, Secretary Kennedy has formally certified that these are the first ever MAHA turkeys. I don't know if I agree with that. These are MAHA. In other words, they could be fat, but they're still MAHA. They've been fattened on a steady diet of grass, beef, to allow the smoothies and all the other things they have been eating for this occasion."

Trump: "I had a little bit of a Pritzker joke. I was gonna talk about Pritzker and size. But when I talk about Pritzker I get angry because he's not letting us do the job. So I'm not gonna tell my Pritzker joke. You know, some speechwriter wrote a joke about his weight ... I refuse to talk about the fact he's a fat slob"

Trump: "The department of everything. We have a department of everything. You know what that is? I think that's called the White House. Into a terrible situation caused by a man named Sleepy Joe Biden. He used an autopen last year for the turkey's pardon."

Omigod! Creeping treason once again rears its ugly wattled head. There's an illegal turkey flying around somewhere, probably dropping drippings on the holy rose garden! Revoke its pardon, shoot it down, and deep fry it before it makes sleepy Joe woke again!

Incidents of homicide in DC past 6 months:

June: 15
July: 15
... (etc.)

Trump lies and claims of DC "we haven't had a murder in 6 months"
Trump is right... there haven't been murders. There have been homicides. TOTALLY different.

(This reminds me of the russian issue... Trump was constantly claiming "no collusion", which was correct from the point of view that "collusion" was not the proper legal term. Conspiracy was.)

'He didn't tell them to drink bleach, he said something equally stupid and dangerous that got people killed, so you're wrong, take that, liberals!'

The despicable video urging @DeptofWar troops to “refuse illegal orders” may seem harmless to civilians — but it carries a different weight inside the military.

This was a politically-motivated influence operation:

☑️ It never named a specific “illegal order.”
☑️ It created ambiguity rather than clarity.
☑️ It used carefully scripted, legal-sounding language.
☑️ It subtly reframed military obedience around partisan distrust instead of established legal processes.

In the military, vague rhetoric and ambiguity undermines trust, creates hesitation in the chain of command, and erodes cohesion.

The military already has clear procedures for handling unlawful orders. It does not need political actors injecting doubt into an already clear chain of command.

As veterans of various sorts, the Seditious Six knew exactly what they were doing — sowing doubt through a politically-motivated influence operation. The @DeptofWar won’t fall for it or stand for it.

STFU, DRUNKY MCDRUNKFACE!

I amuse myself by adding umlauts to MAHA; the Swedish word mähä means incompetent/stupid, or weak/dependent on others. It's a very petty, futile and childish thing to do, but that's not my fault; they make me do it. And besides, many Anglophones seem quite enamoured with umlauts (without having the slightest idea how to really use them - I am looking at you, Häagen-Dasz, and you, Motörhead. Among others. Blue Öyster Cult. Pshaw. Or should that be pshäw? - or how they change pronunciations), so consider it a service!

I know they won't in the this case, but Games Workshop, the owners of 40K, are notorious for unleashing their lawyers on anyone that they get a whiff of trademark/copywrite infringement on. Plenty a fan web sites and competing companies that drifted into GW's fiefdom have been sent a cease and ditsiest order if not outright slapped with lawsuits. Be nice if they did here, be fun to watch.
