Trump's Second Term

The Xitter image of the new Trump cartoons or whatever you want to call them is rather amusing in its overlap, because the bottom right "V" one ends up looking as if it says "Whack is coming." Yeah, man. It sure is.

Prices rising until next year

Baier: You can see energy going to up, electricity going up, gasoline going a little bit down, gas service up. And if you look at the average gas price, these are two different things to look at, but, steady from one year ago, it's about roughly the same.

Wright: I think you will soon see a stop in the rise of electricity prices, we're going to achieve that, I think, hopefully in the first half of 2026. The stop of the rises

Kelly: I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane. I've been nearly shot down multiple times. I've flown a rocket ship into space four times, built by the lowest bidder. But I'm not going to be silenced here. Is it stressful? I've been stressed by things more important than Donald Trump trying to intimidate me into shutting my mouth and not doing my job. He didn't like what I said. I'm going to show up for work every day, support the constitution, do my job, hold this administration accountable. Hold this president accountable when he is out of line. That's the responsibility of every U.S. Senator and every member of congress. He's not going to silence us.

Kelly: These two guys, they informed me of this in a tweet because this is not about the law. This is about the media cycle, and it's about intimidation. The whole thing is almost comical. We basically repeated the uniform code of military justice, and they're saying that's in violation of the uniform code of military justice. It's absurd.

Illegal orders.

Frum: Leavitt saying the secretary of war, the department of war, would never issue an illegal order. Well, calling it the department of war is an illegal order… Every time that, in violation of act of congress the secretary makes up these titles for himself, secretary of partying, secretary of war, whatever he calls himself..those are illegal orders too… they're not the most morally offensive illegal orders, but they are illegal. And every time he gives himself this title, he's proving he is willing to issue illegal orders because the department was organized and named by act of congress, the president unilaterally cannot change that.

I think the Warhammer one was illuminating. My understanding is that the god emperor is only kept alive by human sacrifice in a deliberately ridiculously ◊◊◊◊◊◊ fictional universe.
There's a lot of interesting and purposefully dark lore in the Warhammer 40K universe and a lot of different things that people can latch onto. One of the more interesting foundational bits of lore is that the Warhammer 40K universe is that belief shapes reality to some extent. The Emperor promoted faith in science as a means to try to kill the Chaos Gods in the Warp and shape reality to humanity's advantage, rather than because of that being truth. When he failed and was left on the brink of death by betrayal and the schemes of the Chaos Gods, faith in the Emperor and those sacrifices you mentioned to help keep him barely alive became a thing so the Emperor could continue protecting humanity. In a way, the lore ticks off a lot of things that are... especially comfortable for young right-wing Christian males. Benevolent, super-powerful dictator that's not really responsible for the atrocities committed in their name and the atrocities are for the better of humanity anyways. Diversity and acceptance are often signs of Chaos corrupting with ill intent for humanity, rather than empathy. Fighting! Science isn't really the truth, but a means to an end. Tzeentch, one of the Chaos Gods, can make pretty much anything into being part of an elaborate conspiracy/plot. I could go on, but that's enough for that tangent.

i’d also add that in warhammer, there’s a bunch of supernatural ◊◊◊◊ that’s real. like a lot of fiction. so in that context, the logic you use to view the world doesn’t really apply anymore, and likewise, the idea of an all powerful emperor who is always right and knows best is somewhat plausible

now figured he’s in a constantly deteriorating state maintained by vast human sacrifice kept in order by space fascists at constant war they are slowly losing as the only thing keeping an actual demonic hell from consuming the universe, it’s really not even applicable

also donald trump likely knows nothing about warhammer and it’s just an image of him on a badass looking throne that he liked

Not a cult

This is called patriotism

Hi Nick. Just for the record...

You are going to be SO severely disappointed by Trump in the near future that you will probably break down and cry in public. It will be shameful for you and your family when you realise what a brain-dead putz you are being today. You will probably have to go into hiding, change your name, and get a menial job instead. It won't be pretty.

To avoid this, you might like to re-evaluate your life about now, and seek out a good cult de-programmer. M'kay? Good luck!
