• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

Does 'rape culture' accurately describe (many) societies?

Butt sex based on porn is not pleasurable, you say...I am asking you to explain that statement.
If you attempt anal sex the way it's depicted in porn, without preparation, without practice, without slow and caring progress in gentle stages, you're going to have a bad time.

It's weird to me, trying to have a conversation like this, a mature conversation about sex and pornography, with someone who seems to have very strong, very naive opinions, about both.

I think maybe your convictions are so strong, so black and white, because you don't actually have any real experience with these topics.

I see.

An unnecessary assertion.

Or I might never have had anal sex? I was merely asking you to explain your comments - which you have.

The rest was unnecessary.

Nevertheless you describe porn that portrays adults in such a way as to suggest sex with a child as abhorrent. Why is such barely legal content disgusting but the 'incest' porn seemingly just fine?

Why do content producers think using 'daddy' in the title will be beneficial? What does clicking on such a video say about the consumer?
Nope. You have no understanding, I suggest you go and do some research on porn sites to understand how the term “daddy” is used, it is most often not used with any connotation of incest, it refers to a type of person and behaviour not a biological role/relationship.

Though it is still used for porn suggestive of incest as you concede. And, no, I don't need to do any such research.

You didn't answer the question.

Your question was an ill formed question because you do not have the knowledge to understand what would be a relevant question about the use of the word “daddy” in porn. If you do not want to understand fair enough but the means to learning are there for you to try. You don’t need to go to porn websites to do the research.

As a point porn sites don’t use a suggestion of incest in their titles as such porn would be illegal in many, many countries.

No, I think your the one that should do some research. One helluva a lot of people watch porn. My guess is you don't. Which is OK. But you need to stop suggesting you know the porn world. Because you don't.

Which is why children can easily access it; it had to be free and easy, right?
There is also beer in refrigerators and liquor in kitchen cabinets. Not to mention firearms in many people's homes. What does the most damage?

I don't know any adult who thinks that maybe watching porn as a teenager or preteen ruined their lives. Can't say that about underage drinking or drug experimentation. I certainly don't think it hurt me when I came across my dad's dirty magazines. I went on to college and have had a fulfilling life.

I'll go further. Your view of the porn world is derived entirely from people who have made entire careers out of anti-porn activism. It's extremely one-sided and biased.

This isn't about harm.

It's about parents thinking they have the right to mold the next generation. That their children must have the same values as them. Like my parents thinking that they are Christian and their children will be Christian and have their Christian morals. What was right for them is right for their children.

If they can shield their children from being exposed to different things, just maybe they will grow up the way they want them to.

It's also about moralistic religious-based notions that sex is bad, and actually enjoying sex is worse, and nobody should be doing it except for purposes of procreation.

It's also about paternalism and misogyny and the idea of women having sexual agency being shocking and shameful.

It's about a lot of things, but what it isn't about is protecting children.
