Saudi Arabia is how the Tech Bros (Musk, Thiel, etc.) think Society should be organized: an Elite at the Top with all the money directing all economic activity, employing only loyalists, persecuting dissidents, all founded on Slave Labor.
They are deeply jealous that they don't get to do tax-funded fantasy projects like The Line in the US.

I imagine they also wish they too could have a country where it could just happen that their critics are murdered and cut into little pieces. Corrupt judges and bent cops and the like are so damned expensive!

Sweden is, at present, governed by four conservative parties (or three, if you want to be technically correct, but those three are completely reliant on our alt-right party), the most conservative government since universal suffrage became a thing, so this is indicative of how vary even conservatives in Europe are of the US now.

More protestors took the streets around the entire nation in virtually every single city, including my own hometown and the town I moved to down the road, this past summer and fall, than voted for Trump. A very far cry from the "just one person on a cell phone" you originally claimed back in February, as everyone tried to explain to you that cell phones are used to organize mass protests, and that a single still image doesn't tell any sort of story at all. :)

As a New Yorker I had a front row seat to watch trump as he destroyed a football league, an airline and then lose all his casinos. I have some serious anxiety as to how this is all going to play out.

Yeah, one of the newspapers here just ran a story about yet another American couple who had migrated to Norway because it had become so difficult to be a gay, inter-racial couple in their town in the US.

Why is it that every corrupt cop/law enforcement character we see in TV or movies looks just like Bovino? I swear I've seen him take bribes from Tony Soprano, Gus Fring, Omar Little, Clay Morrow, etc..
