There's an old gnostic theological notion that the entire universe and everything in it is just one singular being, a god that is thinking of itself. Every particle of matter, every smidge of energy, every event, every thought, it's all just one single consciousness contemplating itself.

And if that idea were true then such a being would still be less self-centered than Donald Trump.

I find it amazing how seamlessly those millions of illegal immigrants are blending into society, considering that, according to Republican arithmetic and rhetoric a fairly high percentage of them must be simultaneously imprisoned, insane, below average intelligence but able to steal the best jobs, though destitute robbers on welfare, but able to get mortgages, all while sneaking across the borders with herds of diseased cattle laden with bags of dope. If even a few of those dreaded aliens were as the Republicans describe them, they would be, I think, to borrow a phrase from Jane Austen, fearsome creatures to behold!

Republican supporters don't find it amazing at all. Anything Trump says is automatically the Gospel truth. Details are irrelevant.

The Comey Grand Jury Never Voted On His Indictment

In short, it looks like the Trump Administration failed to get a Grand Jury to indict (which is staying something of note itself), then seriously violated the 5th Amendment by proceeding as if they had, and that that's grounds to simply throw out the whole farce.

They said sir, if George Washington and Abraham Lincoln came back from the dead and they aligned and they went for the president and vice president as a combination you would be beating them by 25 points. The next day I was told something strange is happening. There is a lot of death being reported in a certain country. I won't tell you which one because that country is well represented here but you know which one. Thousands and thousands of people are dying. I said that's strange. Turned out to be a disaster for the world. Nothing has been seen like that since 1917

That's quite a claim, given that Washington was elected twice and got 100% of the popular vote both times.

I find the trump administration to be very depressing. Stephen Miller comes across as a villain from a Grade B movie. As a New Yorker I had a front row seat to watch trump as he destroyed a football league, an airline and then lose all his casinos. I have some serious anxiety as to how this is all going to play out.
