A lot of people kept emailing Epstein about Trump. This says more about general interest in Trump than it does the relationship between Epstein and Trump. How many emails are there between Epstein and Trump?

I want to know what you mean by the word "close". You say that pictures of the two of them together indicate that they were close friends. Your understanding of the word must be different than mine, because under my understanding of the word, the pictures do not demonstrate that.

And I don't recall Trump ever saying he was close friends with Epstein. I've seen quotes of him saying they were friends, but you're saying he said they were close friends, and I haven't seen that.

The pictures are part of the well documented close friendship between the 2, yes. Along with the videos, the private parties they threw together, the many flights on Epstein's plane, the fact that they both said they were, the fact that their business associates said they were, and the fact that their victims said they were.

I'm simply loving that we're now down to you pretending that you don't know what a "best friend" or a "close friendship" means.

It's the hot new thing around here for righties to, all of a sudden, have no clue what words mean. It's so disingenuous that I find myself laughing to the point of tears. Reading this exchange between you and Zigg made my entire morning. I haven't laughed that hard in a good long while. You're showing multiple different angles of their friendship and he's trying to get you to define the definition of the word "close".

I'm almost impressed by it. He's even gotten to the point where he's like, "I don't think Trump drew that picture", even though it looks similar to the style Trump used for the NYC landscape and the other little pictures he's drawn. I can't imagine being so ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ stuck on a politician that I would throw my intelligence out the window to defend him.

He also seems to think we can trust someone's opinion on Trump only if that person likes Trump.

The only things we are allowed to believe about dear leader are positive things. If anyone says anything bad about Trump, it must be rejected.

But it's not a cult...

That's not entirely true, my opinion of Trump could get better or worse. Trump doesn't do much to make me think he's a good person, all things considered, but you never know. He could be visited by 3 ghosts.

The part that's concerning to me is everything you righties cheer on about Trump involves people getting hurt, or disenfranchised, or something similar.

Obvious ploy is obvious: by ordering new investigations into the Epstein Connections, his DOJ can withhold whatever documents he wants to "not endanger ongoing investigations".
If Trump wanted the files released, as he campaigned on, he could do so with the stroke of a pen - no Congress required

i’ll add too that i asked, twice, the basis of his opinion that they’re not close friends. you provided multiple pieces of evidence they were, me just one which was one of the guys directly saying “we were close friends”, which was all hand waved away.

but he never gave his basis for why he’s denying all the evidence.

which is fine, whatever. if you don’t believe it that’s up to you as an individual, but don’t call people out who have been following the stuff and seen the evidence and say there’s nothing there, that’s simply not true. it’s there, might not like it but it’s there.

Well, yeah. Because they're not reliable witnesses. They're people who have an axe to grind with Trump, and they know that saying Trump and Epstein were close friends makes Trump look bad. Why would you take their word for it? That's foolish.

I don't think they were close friends because I don't see signs of close friendship. The photos aren't evidence of that, especially not for people who socialized a lot in the same circles. The photos are evidence that they were friendly, but that's not in dispute. If they were really close friends, why wasn't there more than that?

There was. You handwaved that away. I kept showing you ever more pieces of evidence, but all you want to focus on is some of the pictures, while saying the pictures are all we have.
