Yeah. Unclear how this is a criticism of the ballot in any case.

Zohran Mamdani appears twice because he’s on both lines as Democratic and Working Families.

Sliwa, the Republican, is also listed twice!

And this is the result of New York's electoral fusion laws. Votes for the same candidate on different party lines get added together. There's no advantage to candidates in this, at least not until we give random number generators the vote.

Candidates are listed in order of the votes their party got in the last gubernatorial election, so this year that's Democratic, Republican, Conservative and Working Families. The rest are bespoke parties that won't have fielded a candidate in that election, so I guess they're just randomized. Musk also doesn't seem to have noticed that Cuomo isn't, in fact, last.

In short: this ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ guy.
 
I'm really confused about why a super-genius like Musk appears not to understand why the ballot paper is arranged as it is. Posters here have helpfully explained why its layout is as it is, so why would a super-smart person appear to imply he thought there was some kind of cheating going on?

It's almost as if he was a dishonest sort of fellow. Almost.
