Naw, I have no faith (except to prove my point... bwahahahaha) in a book written by a bunch of horny old men who pretended she spoke to them telepathically as an excuse to subjugate woman.

Although, even if Jesus is fictional, I like that he risked his life to save a woman from being stoned to death.

How many "religious" people would do that today?

And that's all I'm saying about religion, except that Charlie Kirk did use it to justify his beliefs.

So...

My ex was once a member of the synod for her church.

She was rather surprised to find out that the church was still handing around the collection plate, despite owning city buildings, shares, etc.

I can't say that I was surprised.

I'm no marriage counsellor, but in my admittedly mature opinion believing that your spouse is a a godless pagan who'll burn for all eternity in the fires of your loving God's Hell and being 'Fine with that' would be a bit of a red flag for me. But then I always have been an old romantic at heart.

The way he talked about it was weird. Their kids go to a "Christian School" and church and all that but she's Buddhist. It all smells like ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ to me.
