Transwomen are not Women - Part 15

The internet is groaning under the weight of evidence of sickening fetishistic behaviour by trans-identified men
You might find the puppygirls article particularly on point here.

Puppygirls are one of those phenomena which are both ever-present in the online media environment of many trans women, while also having almost no actual presence outside of them. That is hardly surprising: speaking of ‘trans lesbians that are also dogs’ in public feels ridiculous, let alone dangerous. After all, trans women are already commonly viewed as borderline (or outright) deranged. And yet, in our private internet spaces, a culture surrounding the concept of a ‘puppygirl’ is currently flourishing, feeding on the shadow history of trans sexuality as constitutive of transsexuality. And it has much to teach us about living a trans life.

I must admit that it's not particularly easy to follow, as an older person who mostly reads books instead of enjoying immersion in online subcultures where no one knows if you're a dog secretly yearning to be leashed. That aside, Australian feminism has come a long way since the heady days of standing up for females against male oppression.

Sometimes, the sheer depravity of this cohort is beyond belief. You couldn't make some of this up.

My favorite bit is this: "That change is to apply the quotas to people according to their sex at birth, so that trans men will be considered women and trans women considered men. If you are non-binary, who knows what happens!"

Trans privilege dogma really does rot the brain.
She seems confused. People who identify as non-binary are also almost always unambiguously male or female at birth. Since they are censoring moderating comments though, I doubt there is any use trying to point this out.

The traditional Kiwi sense of humour is alive and well on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.
The gender critical here will enjoy the pisstake. Of course, I expect the gender ideologically-captured will call it bigoted tranny-bashing.

For those who don't have a Facebook account, here is a transcript (no pun intended)

Buller District Council Removes “Men at Work” Signs — Says It Promotes “Gendered Labour Hierarchy”
WESTPORT - The Buller District Council has announced it will phase out all “Men at Work” signs from local roadworks, claiming the phrase “reinforces patriarchal construction culture” and “excludes other identities engaging in shovel-based expression.”
The traditional orange signs will be replaced with new ones reading “People Engaged in Roadway Activity”, featuring a neutral stick figure with no discernible gender - and, according to one councilor, “a safer aura.” Council spokesperson Isla Vanal said the change was long overdue. “It’s 2025. Not every person holding a stop/go sign identifies as a man — some identify as non-binary infrastructure facilitators. Others identify as traffic-fluid. We’re just catching up.”
The move follows a complaint from a visiting Wellington cyclist who described the signs as “oppressively masculine” and “emotionally exhausting during peak commute hours.” Local contractor Hugh Jaynus said the policy shows how far things have gone. “I’ve been diggin’ holes here for 30 years. Never thought I’d need a gender-neutral sign to do it. Next they’ll tell us to ask consent before filling potholes.”
Council has also advised workers to replace informal site greetings like “G’day boys” with “Hello, team of diverse contributors.” According to Vanal, the initiative will help “create a construction environment that’s emotionally inclusive and spiritually level.”
However, not all locals are on board. “Mate, I just wanna know if the road’s open or not,” said Westport resident Nick Ovtyme, gesturing at a half-dug trench. “Don’t care who’s diggin’ it - as long as they finish before Christmas.”
Council confirmed it is currently reviewing other outdated signs, including “Give Way” — which has been deemed “too submissive” — and “Slow Children”, which officials say “lacks compassion in its phrasing.”

What's going on with Susan Smith is appalling.

Briefly, there was a protest at the Scottish Parliament last month calling for the implementation of the FWS judgment. All permissions applied for, fully approved. At previous events a man called Tom Harlow showed up with a portable sound system and installed himself on a paved "peninsula" in a shallow ornamental pond right beside where the speeches were to take place.

Harlow is a drag queen and a stripper who calls himself the "Cabaret Against Hate" and he is in receipt of arts funding for this from the Scottish government. He has form as regards drowning out women's meetings with earsplitting noise. He had no permission to protest at the parliament that day. The organisers of the women's demo approached the police in attendance and asked them if they would do something about this bloke this time. They were told brusquely, you do your job and we'll do ours.

Harlow then set up and began to broadcast loud "music", songs denigrating "terfs", at an earsplitting volume, while he sat in a deck chair next to his speakers (wearing earplugs) reading his phone. The police took up a defensive position blocking anyone from crossing on to the peninsula, and I believe telling women that anyone going into the water would be committing a breach of the peace.

The police line was that he had a right to "counter-protest", which they would defend. That the noise wasn't loud enough to break any statutes (although people who measured it said it was at health and safety breach levels). And that was that.

At some point Susan somehow made her way on to the peninsula and asked Harlow to turn down the noise to respect another event nearby where people were reading out the names of dead Palestinian children. I believe he actually turned the volume up. He rose and brandished a rainbow coloured umbrella at her, threatening to knock her into the water. It can be seen that the green section of the umbrella was broken before any of this happened. Susan briefly took hold of the side of the umbrella opposite the broken part, I think to keep her balance.

Harlow reported her to the police for breaking the umbrella. We thought they'd tell him to piss off, but in fact they notified Susan that she had to accept a formal police warning (giving her a police record) or she would face criminal charges for vandalism. She isn't going to accept any warning of course.

There's a bit of a reverse ferret going on, police saying they're reviewing the entire situation and their response, but Susan hasn't been informed of any backing down, she's still facing charges.

There is another bigger women's protest on Saturday (again I can't go, I'm in Brighton) and it could all happen again. Harlow is emboldened, and the police seem to be acting as his private bodyguard.

Why not? The court did not purport to rule on the meaning of "ladies" in statute or in practice.

Called it!
I'm absolutely exhausted from your linguistic shenanigans. Are you seriously gonna stand on that hill and insist that the word "lady" means something entirely and completely different from the word "woman" and therefore labeling a space as "ladies" instead of "women" can sidestep the ruling entirely because words are magic?

Lib Dems have just recognised the impact of the Supreme Court ruling on their diversity quotas

hahahahahahahaha

This idiot doesn't seem to understand that "nonbinary" people have an actual real sex.

More on brollygate. This thread shows clearly that the umbrella was already broken before Susan went anywhere near it, and that the part she touched (with finger and thumb) to try to get it out of her face where he was brandishing it was diametrically opposite to the broken part.

And this is perhaps the clearest picture that demonstrates this.

Nevertheless, despite some backtracking today, the official police position is that if Susan refuses to accept a formal warning (she will refuse) she will face a criminal prosecution for vandalism.

And another pertinent comment.

ETA: I'm not actually seeing earplugs there. Perhaps he's already so deaf he doesn't need them.

UK Government trying to kick implementing the Supreme Court judgement into the long grass by asking for an impact assessment on the cost to businesses

We do not think it necessary for the EHRC to assess the cost to businesses of complying with the law, ahead of our updated services code of practice being laid in parliament. The code is not regulation, nor is it legislation. It is practical guidance to help duty bearers understand what the law requires of them and how they can comply with it.

“These obligations are imposed by the Equality Act 2010, not by the guidance we provide on it. The law is in place and duty bearers should be ensuring that they comply with it now. An assessment of costs would therefore support neither the minister’s consideration of the updated code nor parliament’s scrutiny of it because the impacts such an analysis would identify will be experienced whether or not the code is in place.

The outcome of various Employment Tribunals running (NHS Fife, Leonardo, NHS Darlington) are likely to trigger a large number of claims if employers do not revise their policies.

Indeed, and more on Baroness Faulkner's reponce...

Ministers are allowing gyms, hospitals and clubs to illegally admit transgender people into same-sex spaces by delaying the release of guidance from the equalities watchdog, the organisation’s chair has suggested.
Baroness Falkner of Margravine, the chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), has told Bridget Phillipson, the women and equalities minister, to release the code of practice submitted to her last month as soon as possible and warned organisations were currently operating outside of the law. The code would ban transgender people from spaces which do not match their sex.
In a letter to Phillipson, Falkner said that the guidance currently in force “has now been declared by the Supreme Court to be incorrect” and “is inconsistent with the law in certain high-profile areas of the law”.
She said: “We are aware that some organisations are continuing to refer to and rely upon this outdated version of the code and anticipate continuing to do so until the revised code is published.

Simply put, this is straightfoward political delay tactics.

Here's hoping that Halloween is the one day of the year that you guys don't judge someone for looking other than you expect.
I'm going out dressed as a Real Classroom. I love this costume!

I may be a little concerned that others might tell me I am a Fake Classroom...or don't even realize I was trying to even BE a classroom.
I just really hope to be acknowledged for my efforts.

It's not "looking other you expect" that's the problem. It's pretending to be what you're not, and demanding everyone else's compliance, with menaces.

I thought the fairy wings the guy who served me in Costa Coffee this morning was wearing were really cute. I'd have thought it a lot less cute if he'd been demanding I refer to him as she.

Nobody here objects to anyone wanting to look however they want. But one of the things that Halloween is supposed to teach children is that looking like something doesn't actually make you that thing. Did you not learn that?

Employers supported breaking a law that impacts millions of female humans without taking ten minutes to think of the effect... But now that it's been made clear that it's illegal, they need to have an impact assessment to see how it's going to affect... *checks notes*... the criminals who are breaking the law.

:seangry:

None of us are judging people for looking other than we expect, and I'd really appreciate you NOT foisting a malicious bit of hyperbolic rhetoric on us.

We are objecting to MALE PEOPLE being in FEMALE SINGLE SEX SPACES. We don't care how they look, we only care that they are male. They can dress however they want to, as long as they use male spaces and services.

Serious question: Why are you so dedicated to ensuring that males have the power to override female boundaries?

Hi Sherkeu! Been a while, happy to see you still around!

Transclassrooms are classrooms, so you should be okay. Just make sure you say it really loudly if anyone seems like they might not think you're a real classroom. :wackylaugh:
