Reform in Cornwall imploding

It appears a very public row between members of Reform UK in Cornwall last week was the final nail in the coffin for the party's former leader at Cornwall Council. Cllr Rob Parsonage has resigned from the party and will now be deputy leader of the new Cornish Independent Nonaligned Group at the local authority.

His move comes after an extraordinary angry exchange - captured on a recording - in which a Reform supporter shouts at Cllr Parsonage in a packed Cornish pub: "Go away, you horrible, odious, odious little man." The recording of the heated meeting at The Highwayman in Dobwalls has been leaked to us anonymously.

Bad news for Starmer somehow no doubt.
After his £10bn deal to supply the Norwegian navy with at least five new frigates this has to be the end for him.


The UK has secured a deal worth up to £8bn to supply Turkey with 20 Typhoon fighter jets.

During a visit to Ankara to sign the agreement on Monday, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer described it as "a win for British workers, a win for our defence industry and a win for Nato security".

It is the largest fighter jet export deal in almost two decades and will support thousands of jobs across the UK for years to come, the government said.

The deal is the culmination of long-running negotiations, with Britain and Turkey signing a preliminary purchase deal for 40 Typhoons in July.

I simply wouldn’t be selling jets to the illegal occupiers of Cyprus and supporters of jihadist terrorism. But you know best Keir, right!

You look too happy for selling armaments to a country that is cozy with Russia while you break the balls of European countries that do the same, why?

Things going well

A councillor who quit the Conservatives to join Reform UK earlier this month has stepped down from the party after 20 days.

Grantham councillor Mark Whittington will now sit on South Kesteven District Council as an unaligned independent member.

He left the Conservatives on 7 October, telling the media the party was "over" and had failed to deliver change.
