Meanwhile, around 50 remains of Palestinians being held by Israel were repatriated to Gaza today, and tonight a five-body (4+ one 'oopsy') turnover by HAMAS to the ICRC is due to occur.

If it were up to me, I'm of the opinion that Israel can start to present the ICRC with a steady flow of Palestinian bodies that have been kept 'on ice' (or temporarily interred), not just from the past two years, but including scores of others that Israel has acquired in various ways throughout the West Bank & Gaza.
It would be a show of unilateral goodwill by the Israelis, which might be well-received in the current environment.

Trading corpses and bones is never a subject that is easy to discuss and really shouldn't turn into a game of 'chicken'

I am not a member of the IDF Command hierarchy.
By the way, if you're fixated on the word "extermination" it's OK to substitute "assassinated" "Targeted for Elimination" "In the Crosshairs" or "Eradication" or any other term you want, if you are so pedantic.

Which ones would Israel probably have on a list?
Well, we missed that guy, Khalil Al-Hayya.
I wouldn't mind if he finds himself meeting a bevy of 72 virgins. In hell.

He then added an inference to the loaded phrase "Final Solution" as a means to goad me, apparently. (#3300) and there is my reply in 3304. Hercules56 quickly jumped on that, and went forward with his bogus explanation that I'm favoring and supporting Nazism.

You have called for racist ethnic cleansing, starvation, and extra judicial exterminations.

As I mentioned a while ago, both Israeli and US intelligence agree that it will be very hard for Hamas to find and deliver the bodies of the dead and missing hostages - and lionking thought it was absurd to give Hamas the freedom of movement necessary for them to do it.

This is an extremely dishonest reason for breaking the Deal, showing that Israel was not going to abide by it anyway unless forced to.
This is testing Trump on whether he is going to follow through with his deal, or if the PR show was enough for him

And if the US does it the cease fire is over but the IDF can sit back and watch.

I think it's deplorable. As a matter of international humanitarian law I think Israel should be held accountable for having committed what are clearly war crimes. No ifs, ands, or buts.

In conclusion, Hamas must be destroyed.
 
Everyone is going full-tilt on HOW to disarm all the jihadists (not just the main core of HAMAS, but also minor factions like PIJ).
What heavy weaponry do they even currently retain? RPG's and mortars and TOW rockets and Qassem missiles?
And the tunnels are also part of that equation.

First of all, we need to evaluate what is meant by "disarm" ? I think the more accurate term is "demilitarize, demobilize and reintegrate" -- or DDR.

Secondly, the existing & ongoing IDF mission has nothing to do with that goal.
Egypt has sent in teams that are working to locate and assemble the bodies.
Obviously that's a difficult task, and requires cooperation with the IDF H-M-P Command operations.
The key to this process is local HUMINT, which Israel has lots of in Gaza right now, especially among the clans.

Thirdly, as I noted much earlier in the thread, in Sinai (and Jordan) sits a force of equipped & trained Palestinians unaffiliated with HAMAS. They're chomping at the bit to enter and face-off with HAMAS.

And lastly, Hadar Goldin's repatriation is at the top of the list.
HAMAS would gain a huge benefit with his return. Obtaining maybe even over 1000 Palestinian prisoners for one casket.
