General Israel/Palestine discussion thread - Part 4

No, just the ones, like Ben Gvir, who you disagree with politically.

That red triangle hopefully will not make a re-appearance in your posts, Hercules56.
He is a racist and a Fascist, and totally deserves that label. He's one evil POS.

And since its ok for the IDF to use the red triangle, without any complaints from you, I can still use it.

IDFascists

They aren't.

Calling for starvation for 2 million people, and ethnic cleansing, is being a Nazi.

Smotrich and MANY other Israelis are wearing the Nazi shoe very well.

But many do not. Unfortunately it appears that the Israeli Jews who oppose the IDFascist crimes in Gaza are in the minority.

:(

Bibi the Butcher has contacted Qatar and apologized for their very failed attack. Good move.

Now let's see if he will completely accept Trump's peace plan and if Hamas will accept as well.

Um, wow! Trump's peace plan for Gaza is actually really good!

Israel will evacuate all of Gaza. They will not annex Gaza.

The people of Palestine will be allowed to stay and temporarily leave if they want.

Hamas members will be allowed to stay if they disarm and commit to peace. Otherwise they will be given safe passage to another country.

Hamas and related groups will not be able to rule Gaza in any way.

The Palestine Authority will reform and eventually take over.

Gaza will be completely rebuilt for the betterment of the Palestinian people.

Gaza will become part of a future Palestinian state.

What has turned Trump around? It's like he has actually turned into a human being.

If this goes through he may get the Nobel Peace prize. Yikes.

On the one hand, I want the slaughter and starvation to end.

On the other hand, I don't want Lord Dampnut to be able to take credit for it.
Maybe Trump was visited by an angel and given one last chance to do something good before he, well, is no longer in a position to do things on earth.

Without a non Israeli military presence, none of what's in this deal has any chance of happening - Palestinian leaders will rightfully insist on that before agreeing.
Of course, the hundred billion dollar question is: who is paying for the cleanup and rebuilding?

Israel is certainly going to refuse both of that.

This is not a plan, it's a statement of quaint hopes and ideas. Nothing is concrete enough to agree or reject.
What matters right now is that Israel stops the killing, and doesn't start again.

Uh-huh. And how many civilians did they murder in order to get to him?

That information is outside of the scope of our knowledge. HAMAS doesn't provide any details regarding their losses.
All Gaza civilians have been warned to get away from HAMAS, and they absolutely understand the consequences of ignoring that directive. (Which is why GazaCity is now looking like a ghost-town).

I think the "People of Palestine" need to re-evaluate their lives.
Because everything they've been doing so far ain't worth a plugged nickel.

They will accept this one.

There's a lot of cooking required to make this 20-ingredients omlette palatable.
Plenty of eggshells are floating around in that mix. Not the least of which is the PIJ and others in Gaza who are completely satisifed with the way this war has gone, with Israel being 'isolated' and 'sanctioned' and Jews worldwide under attacks. PIJ leader Ziad Al-Nakhaleh rejects the proposal, and from first reports, the head of the Government (HAMAS) Media Office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabta, has also come forward publicly to denounce the plan announced by US President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza

Cuz if they dont, all bets are off, all gloves are off.
Just curious, Herc, is there something more drastic than the "existing genocide & starvation" that Israel can attempt in order to dislodge HAMAS? I mean, is there a status beyond genocide? (maybe another word needs to be invented?)

And yet all the information we have about the casualties in Palestine are from Hamas sources, or so I've been told.

You're looking for a word for a worse crime than genocide???
