Whilst I do not know what Hitler may have taken, my pharmacology is pretty good; Oxycodone is NOT a methamphetamine based drug it is an opiate.

One of the worst parts of this is, from the New York Times news article I linked, SCOTUS issued this decision on the basis of an emergency docket or "shadow docket." There is no hearing, limited briefs are filed, no oral arguments. These cases are usually decided in a week and the 'emergency order' issued is not signed. The conservative majority use this in cases where the complainant -- usually the trump administration -- appeals a lower court decision and SCOTUS (the conservative members) decide a formal hearing will take too long, causing "irreparable harm" to the party appealing.
The three liberal justices dissented, saying the issue before the court was too consequential to have been dealt with on an emergency basis.

This was on our news last night. Reporters pointed out a major Australian company exports pharmaceuticals to the USA. But...they already have a US-based factory already making those pharmaceuticals to be sold in the USA, employing US employees. But they aren't building anything new just at the moment. So do they have to impose a tariff on their "exports" to the USA that come from the USA?

Laughingly, wife and I suggested the factory build a new flower-bed outside the front door and call it a "new building", thus avoiding the tariffs on a typical Roy Cohn-like technicality.
