Trump's Second Term

shyscorpio61
The Hyundai Corp has decided to close ALL FACTORIES in the U.S. until further notice and layoff all American personnel until the Karen Trumper situation can be solved- or the next elections to be rid of Miller/Trump ICE problems!Karen from Georgia running for office not only cost her local area 8500 jobs, but jobs, plant closures & hundreds of billions in investments across the country!Nice going Karen. 👌
Google AI:
Hyundai operates two automotive manufacturing plants in the U.S.: one in Alabama (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama) and a new electric vehicle plant in Georgia (Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America), with a planned steel plant to open in Louisiana in 2028 to support these facilities.
That's not what I see in other reports:

However, there was no evidence that Hyundai was closing the Georgia facility in light of the raid. The AP reported HL-GA would be pausing construction of the battery plant, which is scheduled to be opened in 2026, but HL-GA did not respond to Snopes for further comment. We have opted not to give a rating to this claim until HL-GA responds.

However, Michael Stewart, director of public relations and communications at Hyundai North America, told Snopes via email, "there have been no changes to Hyundai's operations in the U.S." and referred to a statement released on the company's website addressing the incident. The statement claimed that "none of those detained is directly employed by Hyundai Motor Company" and "Hyundai has zero tolerance for those who don't follow the law."

The company's statement read in full:

Hyundai Motor Company is aware of the immigration enforcement action that took place at the construction site of its supplier, the HL-GA Battery Company in Bryan County, Georgia. We are closely monitoring the situation while working to understand the specific circumstances. Based on our current understanding, none of those detained is directly employed by Hyundai Motor Company.
Hyundai is committed to full compliance with all laws and regulations in every market where we operate. This includes employment verification requirements and immigration laws. We expect the same commitment from all our partners, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
The safety and well-being of everyone working at our sites, whether directly employed by us or working for our suppliers, is a top priority. We take our responsibility as a corporate citizen seriously, and incidents like this remind us of the importance of robust oversight throughout our entire supply chain and contractor network.
We are reviewing our processes to ensure that all parties working on our projects maintain the same high standards of legal compliance that we demand of ourselves. This includes thorough vetting of employment practices by contractors and subcontractors.
North America Chief Manufacturing Officer Chris Susock will now assume governance of the entire megasite in Georgia and we will conduct an investigation to ensure all suppliers and their subcontractors comply with all laws and regulations.
Hyundai has zero tolerance for those who don't follow the law.
As we continue to invest in American manufacturing and create thousands of jobs, we will do so in full accordance with U.S. law and in a manner that reflects our values of treating all people with dignity and respect.

Hyundai says opening of raided plant to be delayed

A massive immigration raid at a Hyundai plant in the US will delay its opening by at least two months, according to the company.

The raid has raised tensions between the US and South Korea, where many of the workers were from, with the South Korean president warning that it will discourage foreign investment into the US.

South Korean officials have said many of the workers had been sent to the US factory temporarily to help get it going.

Hyundai chief executive José Muñoz told US media the raid will create "minimum two to three months delay [in opening the factory] because now all these people want to get back".

Did Hyundai make an announcement that it was canceling its $4 billion EV battery plant in Georgia after the raid where U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained 475 workers on September 4, 2025? No, that's not true: There is no impact to Hyundai's U.S. vehicle manufacturing operations following the ICE raid a company spokesperson told Lead Stories. Hyundai's president and CEO spoke to reporters on September 11, 2025, and said there would be a two-to-three-month delay in the startup of the battery manufacturing joint venture but did not say the company was cancelling that plant. Hyundai said it was continuing to invest in American manufacturing and creating thousands of jobs in a statement on its website after the raid. There have been no actual news reports about Hyundai cancelling the project.

The claim appeared in a September 10, 2025 post on X.com (archived here) where it was published on the @Christo12919382 account with caption, "Trump's America folks...#ETTD".

Lead Stories reached out to Hyundai for a comment on the claim that the company was cancelling the plant.

Hyundai spokesperson Ira Gabriel responded via email on September 11, 2025, and said "There is no impact to Hyundai's U.S. vehicle manufacturing operations." He pointed to remarks Hyundai President and CEO José Muñoz gave to reporters on September 11, 2025, while attending an automotive conference in Detroit, where he reportedly said the company is facing a "minimum startup delay of two to three months," but not a cancellation.

Unless there's real information that I haven't seen, I must assume this this is a baseless rumor started by some attention seeking rando, and reposted by more of the same.

The poster was a musician from Detroit. But it does bring up quite an expense to build buildings, then guard them and keep some utilities running for the Trump years. Workers welcomed home in S Korea.

You know, I'm wondering if it's time to maybe stop posting every bit of Drumpf outrage we come across in this thread here. We know they're cruel. We know they're hateful. We know they're the world's biggest hypocrites. I'm just finding it's increasingly not giving me anything when people post yet another meme or Twitter post that's basically just "hey, here's another MAGA supporter/politician/pundit being an ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊". Maybe focus more on developments that actually mean something. Dump occupying an American city with the military is news. Catching MAGA Drone #394 170 saying something hateful or hypocritical isn't.

Not that I disagree, but I'll tell you what. When the fat clown and his maga weirdoes stop calling all liberals/lefties/democrats nasty names, then I'll stop returning the favor by showing how stupidly ignorant they are. How's that?

It's all Obama's fault

Megyn Kelly: “We haven't felt like ourselves since Obama. He was such a slick snake…He was so divisive in his messaging...He’s the one who started to inject race when no one had been doing it…

Obama is the reason Trump came about. They say ‘Trump is divisive’. He’s the antidote, the answer to the divisiveness of Obama.”

Not Trump's war it's Biden and Zelensky's war.
NATO has to do as he says and the war will end quickly otherwise you are wasting his time.
And by the way, I want 50% or 100%tariffs from all of NATo on China or I'm not playing.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
A LETTER SENT BY PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP TO ALL NATO NATIONS AND, THE WORLD: "I am ready to do major Sanctions on Russia when all NATO Nations have agreed, and started, to do the same thing, and when all NATO Nations STOP BUYING OIL FROM RUSSIA. As you know, NATO'S commitment to WIN has been far less than 100%, and the purchase of Russian Oil, by some, has been shocking! It greatly weakens your negotiating position, and bargaining power, over Russia. Anyway, I am ready to "go" when you are. Just say when? I believe that this, plus NATO, as a group, placing 50% to 100% TARIFFS ON CHINA, to be fully withdrawn after the WAR with Russia and Ukraine is ended, will also be of great help in ENDING this deadly, but RIDICULOUS, WAR. China has a strong control, and even grip, over Russia, and these powerful Tariffs will break that grip. This is not TRUMP'S WAR (it would never have started if I was President!), it is Biden's and Zelenskyy's WAR. I am only here to help stop it, and save thousands of Russian and Ukrainian lives (7,118 lives lost last week, alone. CRAZY!). If NATO does as I say, the WAR will end quickly, and all of those lives will be saved! If not, you are just wasting my time, and the time, energy, and money of the United States. Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."

I think that she sorta has a point. Obama was classy, intelligent, a good public speaker, and largely worked for the betterment of the US. Every one of those traits highlights how very different people like her and Trump are from people like him, naturally dividing the country by means of their self-inflicted and rich people inflicted inferiority complexes. The color of his skin just made it all the more irritating because it plainly refuted the "At least I'm still better than black people" pretenses that were used to compensate for those feelings of inferiority. Trump is then their answer because they can pretend that he drags everyone else down to their level in one way or another.

For a moment of mostly positive news -

Sham, Fabrication, Chicanery: A Bad Day For DOJ Attorneys As Judge Orders Trump Regime To Eat Crow

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) ordered the firings of tens of thousands of employees across dozens of unrelated federal agencies. The OPM directed that the firings be characterized as do to poor performance, a lie. No performance review was ever conducted. The firings were simply blanket, across the board, and cruelly administered with recipients receiving an OPM mandated email falsely characterizing their firing as for poor performance.

Various fired employees and their union sued. A federal judge issued a temporary injunction against the firings, but the Supreme Court stayed that temporary injunction pending a full ruling on the merits by the trial judge. That ruling was released yesterday, you can read it HERE.

The decision uses the words in the title of this article to describe the government’s conduct, and the conduct of the government’s lawyers in the case.

In short, the government defense for the firings was found to be utterly dishonest. Further, government must remove the false "fired for poor performance" claims and inform the victims that the false claim of poor performance has been removed. Possibly also allow for unemployment pay until the wrongfully fired people were employed again. That's the good news. The bad news is that the damage isn't magically being undone and the brazen liars and wrongdoers aren't really getting punished.

Herr Schitler says domestic violence isn't real crime.

6 more Broward deputies fired, 11 disciplined after probe finds BSO failures tied to Tamarac triple murder

Six Broward deputies were fired and 11 others were disciplined following an internal affairs investigation into the Broward Sheriff's Office's handling of a Tamarac triple murder in February, the agency announced Friday.

The investigation found that multiple deputies failed to properly investigate domestic violence complaints that Mary Gingles made against her husband, Nathan Gingles, in the months before the killings.

Nathan Gingles was in the midst of a contentious divorce from his estranged wife, Mary Gingles.

On the morning of Feb. 16, he went to her home, located at 5897 N. Plum Bay Pkwy., and fatally shot her father, David Ponzer, on the patio. Mary Gingles ran to a neighbor's house for help, but Nathan Gingles followed her and opened fire, killing both her and the neighbor, 36-year-old Andrew Ferrin, according to court documents.

BSO investigation found deputies failed to act on domestic violence reports

The internal affairs report revealed deputies repeatedly responded to Gingles' residence beginning in February 2024 regarding a restraining order and domestic violence incidents, but did not investigate adequately.

"We had multiple opportunities to protect Mary during the months preceding her death when she alerted us to the domestic violence she was experiencing," Tony said. "The deputies and detectives assigned to investigate these cases failed their training and, ultimately, failed to handle Mary's repeated cries for help with the urgency required."

But it's not a real crime, shouldn't count in the stats.

The answer to homelessness

“Or involuntary lethal injection or something. Just kill them.” - Fox News Host during a segment about the homeless population

Here's the full exchange of "ideas" courtesy of Media Matters:

LAWRENCE JONES (FOX HOST): We don't have to — we feel so compassionate because you see the mental health crisis happening.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (FOX HOST): You just get — exactly.

JONES But it's not our job — we shouldn't have to live in fear while they figure out what is going on right there.

EARHARDT: Right, right.

JONES: Put him in a mental institution, put him in a jail, and you guys figure it out. But people having to duck and dive on the trains and the buses, walking through the street, this is one case, but this is happening all across the country, and it's not a money issue. They have given billions of dollars to mental health and the homeless population. A lot of them don't want to take the programs, a lot of them don't want to get the help that is necessary. You can't give them a choice. Either you take the resources that we're going to give you and — or you decide that you are going to be locked up in jail. That's the way it has to be now.

BRIAN KILMEADE (FOX HOST): Or involuntary lethal injection.

JONES: Yeah.

KILMEADE : Or something. Just kill them.

EARHARDT: Yeah, Brian, why did it have to get to this point?

KILMEADE: Right, I would say this, we are not voting for the right people. In North Carolina, wake up. You can't put — keep putting these people in power. They woke up in Los Angeles, they got a stronger D.A. They woke up and they got rid of Chesa Boudin in San Francisco. Hopefully they will get rid of this terrible guy Alvin Bragg in New York. And now it's up to the people in the election which is whoever is up in November and that Senate seat that belongs to Thom Tillis who by the way yesterday said I don't want any help from the federal government to bring crime under control in cities like Charlotte. That's your decision. But Michael Whatley or you could have Governor Cooper. Governor Cooper gave you these terrible laws. Mike Whatley wouldn't. And he ran the RNC. These are the people in North Carolina. Purple leaning red state. They got a big choice. On this element, it is political. Because it's political because politics has to change this.
Aktion T4, coming to a homeless camp near you!
