that's also a big part of the red pill/incel-ish communities. really obsessed with bone structure as it relates to looks, something they can't change about themselves out of their control that they can blame for their loneliness. you could draw a venn diagram between them and mentally ill people drawn to right wing ideology. not sure exactly what that would look like, but i could give it a guess.

But they'd spell it wrong and introduce mandatory inspections of an entirely different part of the anatomy. Any embarrassment would be tempered by ignorance, a total lack of shame and the ability to identify trans people more easily.

In some cases that may be true. But one freshman semester at Utah State is about as radical as a weekend at the state fair. If you can be radicalized by Intro to Business Accounting and Conversational French, then sure, let's shut it all down.
