I agree he was a racist POS. But words matter. facts matter. They don't matter to people who want to fan the flames of hatred, to those people it is fair game to make up false quotations and paint people in the worst possible light. So be honest! Quote people accurately. That is what critical thinking people do, it is what this forum is for. If you want to make the argument that their sugar coated wording is just a ruse to avoid admitting you are a racist POS, make it! But don't lie. Is that too much to ask?
 
I had never heard of Charlie Kirk before seeing a near-live unfolding of events on X-Twitter so feel unqualified to offer a decent opinion. However, I did see in a Finnish newspaper that Kirk had claimed on GB News in a debate that 'Finland is Russian'. Now, that is not only ignorant, but also fighting talk! What is it about the far right that makes them admire the likes of Putin and Russia? I simply cannot understand their support of Russia.

Cool. Let me know when you and SpitfireIX have combed this thread for other inaccuracies that don't fundamentally alter what is being argued. It's a useful service and I think we can agree it should be applied across the board. Looking forward to seeing the results.

I think if you put any amount of time into looking at Kirk and what he says, you'll find that's all he does. He made a living out of insulting, degrading, and mocking people on the left, repeatedly. As I mentioned, he was a provocateur. He had no actual 9-5. The entirety of his life was to make highly edited videos that go out of their way to paint college students as morons (The ones that disagree with him that is). College girls have been threatened with rape because of what they say to him.

I don't think he should have been killed, but I don't have any ◊◊◊◊◊ to give over him being gone. If you make your entire life about insulting and degrading people then don't be shocked when one pops off.

Russia is the perfect example of how they think government should work and it has proper ways of keeping the gays and darkies in check. Really what is not to love from their point of view?

Plus, of course, I wouldn't put it past a far-right shooter to engrave ammo this way, to stir up even more hatred towards trans people.
On the other hand, I seriously don't get why a liberal/progressive shooter would want to stir up such anger against a minority that's already marginalized and under heavy fire.

The fun thing is no matter what happens or what is reported with regards to the shooter both sides won't believe it anyway. If it comes out this guy loves Trump, dated Ivanka for awhile when they were young, voted for Trump all 3 times, the right will still say it's a cover-up by the government. Even though their Jesus is currently running the government. It will still be a cover-up.

If it turns out to be a Dem then the left will say it's not true, the person was provoked by Kirk because of words, etc.

No matter what happens the bulk of people have made up their mind.
