Well, the US has already had "mass political violence" for a while now. (Remember, all those ICE agents cracking down on people? Remember Trump's comments about how the "2nd amendment people can do something about Clinton"?) The difference here is that if the shooter IS a left-winger, then its just a case of the violence being less-than-one sided.

My fear too. No matter who and for what reasons (if you can say reason enters in) the right wing, most especially the ◊◊◊◊ face in charge, will use it as an additional excuse to up the war against everyone who isn't kissing his ass. Especially the marginalized communities who have been his consistant boogy men and hate targets.
