I can't help but read the headline as meaning charlie kirk was the one shooting at the event instead of someone shooting at charlie cook while we was at an event.
 
I'm somewhat surprised since Utah County is generally a safe space for some pretty right-of-center views. No details locally on the ground here, except that the injury is serious not life-threatening, and the suspect is in custody.

I saw one video that was pretty graphic; it made me sick, though I found his views to be despicable. ◊◊◊◊ like this is only going to get worse, as will be the response. The U.S. is so ◊◊◊◊◊◊.

The party of personal responsibility had to see something like this coming. Take the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ temperature of the US right now. Eventually people are going to get fed up and fight back. It's going to get worse before it gets better and I'd say it might not be a bad idea for most right-wing provocateurs to up their security.

I don't condone most violence, this one being one I don't condone, but I understand it. That being said, last time I said this with the unitedhealthcare CEO I had a bunch of people on this forum telling me that "understanding" and "condoning" or the same thing but since that's ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ stupid I'm hoping to avoid that in this thread.

it’s possible. to me it’s just as likely that some right wing lunatic shot him as it is anyone else for any other reason.
