Trump's Second Term

He didn't want to go to the party anyway!
Trump on Russia, North Korea, and China: “I thought it was a beautiful ceremony. I thought it was very, very impressive, but I understood the reason they were doing it, and they were hoping I was watching, and I was watching…I watched the speech last night. President Xi is a friend of mine, but I thought that the United States should have been mentioned last night during that speech because we helped China.”

He sounds like the nerd who got to tutor the jocks in algebra, so now he thinks they're his friends. They're not your goddamn friends; they laugh at you behind your back, and they will pants you and give you a swirlie at the first opportunity!

Marjorie Taylor Greene: “Today [Trump] called it a hoax while these women were speaking out…It's not a hoax because Jeffrey Epstein is a convicted pedophile…One of the Trump admin officials came out and called this a hostile act against the Trump administration…The hostile act was Jeffrey Epstein raping 14-year-old girls.”
Unexpected but certainly welcome.

So the mentally ill space laser lady figured out the Drumpf gig wasn't working out for her, so she's pivoting to a more lucrative position.
Good to see people yank their heads out of his rear orifice, but also, ◊◊◊◊ her.

I agree, but also, the thought of Dump tutoring anyone is hilarious. Thank you, I needed that laugh and mental image.

As someone (I believe it was Ted Stoermer) on YouTube said, the US is in the awkward phase right now where the resistance is still planning and organizing, and most people are still looking for a leader. They will emerge. But yes, the US has gotta do this themselves.
And I think in the end the resistence will have to be armed. People can shoocse between democracy and pacifism, they can't have both.

Russia and China friends?

It's Biden's fault obviously.

Pete Hegseth: "Unfortunately, the weakness of the previous administration has driven Russia and China closer together. That's a terrible development of a lack of American leadership and a lack of American strength."

Actually I kinda agree there. Biden should have ensured Trump and his clique of insurrectionists were in jail in the first year of his presidency.
The failure to actually meaningfully act against them caused this current situation.

It really seems like a US administration carrying out the extrajudicial killing of 11 people in a boat, claiming they were drug dealing gang members while producing no evidence that this was the case, and now scrambling to come up with a retrospective legal justification ought to be a bigger story.

Trump was democratically elected. Any resistence, armed or not, has already rejected democracy.
This is an odd claim, and I think an obviously false one. Unarmed resistance to (for example) lawless actions by the Trump administration would be perfectly justifiable and would not entail a rejection of democracy.

It matters that he was elected to the position of president, and not absolute monarch, even if he would prefer to elide the distinction.

That poor Polish president, having to sit next to Whacky Demented Nazi Grandad while he raves in public...and it's all live on TV. I'm sure he is wondering why the ◊◊◊◊ he even bothered to waste his time and come to the USA in the first place.
