His refusal to release the large volume of files sans the victims' identities is some incredibly strong circumstantial evidence. His well documented 10+ year close friendship with Epstein is as well. And so on...

You seem to be assuming that Trump must have Epstein-relevant reasons for deploying weapons of mass distraction, but he's used that same strategy for every other (alleged) personal and political scandal and found that it nearly always works, so I'm not seeing any reason why he'd deviate from that approach now.

He's well out of their jurisdiction these days.

Oftentimes I wonder why people create conspiracy theories which go well beyond the known facts establishing an actual criminal conspiracy.

I could only speculate—or maybe write some antifanfic—having very little experience of what financial elites are actually like behind closed doors.

I've long believed the Epstein conspiracy theories are not based on the known facts of the case, but come from outside sources like QAnon and scattered incidents of mass sexual abuse. There's literally like three women out of maybe several hundreds of Epstein victims who've been driving this public effort into exposing his alleged elite clients, and we're not supposed to question their credibility.
 
interestingly enough, the qanon types don't seem to give a ◊◊◊◊ about this anymore. regardless, that carried a little more weight than before trump started actively interfering in the investigation. i'd put a pin in it until we see how maxwell's legal woes shake out.

Certainly Americans (and their Ukrainian allies) have good reason to be wary of shadowy billionaire influencers, surveillance technology, and Russia, especially when taken together.

That said, do these nefarious phenomena have anything to do with the Palm Beach / USVI sex trafficking ring?

i’ll be more clear. one, it’s either this thread or the conspiracy one about his murder. two, it’s a developing story. so i’m not sure what overlap there is between his sex ring, finances, and involvement with intelligence agencies have. seems there’s a lot of potential connections between all of it to me.

so i say perhaps.

at a minimum i feel the only reason i know epstein was talking with the former prime minister of israel about getting involved in palantir is because of the sex ring.

Kash Patel and Dan Bongino two of the biggest podcast sphere Epstein conspiracists got into the vault and said the conspiracy theories are false. I think that was quite significant.

Not to worry, now Reps. Massie and Khanna are taking up the QAnon crusade. They've teamed up with Epstein victims rep Brad Edwards, who doesn't appear to believe the theories to be clear, but is looking for general closure to the case since the renewed interest.

But there is always that sneaky stipulation that personally identifiable information of the accusers be redacted. I say WHY SHOULD IT BE? Epstein is long dead. His alleged co-conspirators are in hiding. The young women are now middle aged women, and many have already gone public. Presumably accusations against prominent people will be revealed, but not information about their accusers. I guess it won't hurt to redact the lower profile accusers at this point who allege the usual pattern of Epstein's 2005 case. But if someone is accusing prominent people of participating in a "sex trafficking ring" we ought to know background information about the accuser as well. Otherwise they're just shamelessly controlling the narrative. It's not like 99 percent of the Epstein! Epstein! Epstein! people are going to read all the documents anyway. They'll just have the media pick out the juicy sounding stuff, just like they did in previous document releases the past couple years.

I think Trump is closer to the truth than most of the public on this, I'm afraid to say.

EDIT: I recognized one of the women who spoke today as one of the victim-perpetrators in the 2005 Palm Beach case. This is what I mean though, at least her story is known and she does not implicate anyone in a sex trafficking ring. But most people have glossed over these details or are completely unaware.

Everything in Epstein's 2005 case was repackaged into a QAnon-style conspiracy theory by Julie Brown with the help of Virginia Giuffre, Sarah Ransome, and other high profile Epstein accusers. Just one example, in the "Epstein murdered" thread in Conspiracies and Conspiracy Theories I provided a link to a summary of Ransome's claims over the years, with links to the actual emails she sent. If those emails were written by anyone else but a purported sex-trafficking victim we know what the reaction would be.

Things like this are completely left out of the public discussion, even though the public interest is a RESULT OF THESE CLAIMS! Because most people are not calling to "release the Epstein files" over anything Epstein himself did anymore. Epstein's dead. Lawsuits have been settled. You mentioned the multimillion dollar payouts from JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank.
