Cont: The Trials of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito: Part 32

You can read what the postal police had to say about the laptops here, https://themurderofmeredithkercher.net/T-postal-police-notices.html, it is their position the laptops were fried before being received. Filomena's came to them from a different source. She had been to the cottage and taken hers away. She discovered it was dead. She took it to the Questura as ordered and the duty sergeant also found this as she reported it and he was a witness to this. The postal police confirmed her laptop was in exactly the same condition as the others: fried. Yet Lumumba's was fine. Sollecito tried to explain his laptop being dead because the police had ripped it from the wall at the plug and hence ruined it. You be the judge.
It doesn't matter what the postal police say, the data shows the machine was booted up long after Raffaele was arrested. This is indisputable. This has been shown to you repeatedly but I guess, just like claiming a P2P download, you figure people will eventually forget and accept your explanation, but we don't. I have judged the data and the postal police fried the drives.

BTW, there is no such file as T-postal-police-notices.html in the file library. If you're going to provide a link, you should at least offer a working one.

The police forensic guys said the Naruto was a p2p auto download. Dad said he rang his son at circa 8:40 and RS said they had had their evening meal and that he had had a leak in his kitchen after it. AK put the time of the leak at first 10:00 then 11:00, which in RS' second police interview turned into a 'flood', with the U-bend falling off all of its own accord as he was washing up. Hence the need for toing and froing with the mop next morning, etc. They just can't keep their story straight. At least Guede's account, albeit self-serving and painting himself in a good light, does have an internal consistency, that if it were to be broadly true, one would not be surprised.
It doesn't matter if P2P was used to download the file. I'd say nice try, but it really isn't.

What YOU said was "arranging a P2P download of Naruto to make it look like he was watching it"

This is a flat out LIE and you know it because we've already had this conversation and you even acknowledge it at the time. The file was downloaded on 14 Oct. The file was opened at 21:26 using VLC, and it was done by human intervention as VLC does not support automation.

You also claimed "dismantling the U-tube to his sink" without a shred of evidence of him doing this. This is another LIE.

You also claimed "got Dad and a friend to vouch for his leak being before 8:40 and that he was home at XX time" without a shred of evidence of him doing this. This is another LIE.

And now you've introduced yet another lie. You claimed "Dad said he rang his son at circa 8:40 and RS said they had had their evening meal". No he didn't. Raffaele said he was washing dishes. He never mentioned a meal. This is a LIE.

No, it's YOU who can't keep the story straight because you keep making things up.

So Guede's story has an internal consistency? Is that what you call going from 'Amanda wasn't there, not involved' to 'I'm 100% sure she was there'. Yup, that's some serious consistency going on there! What he was consistent with was adjusting his story as he learned more and more what the police where thinking.

Oh please.
Reality is not always pleasant to face, but it's still reality.

Amanda and Raffaele were virtually convicted during Guede's trial, without any representation. Perhaps you can explain how the court concluded Guede did not inflict the fatal wound. Perhaps you can explain how the court concluded he didn't steal Meredith's money. The court accepted the prosecution's claim the break-in was staged without anyone who could argue otherwise. Effectively, the court accepted a theory that involved Amanda and Raffaele, without actually hearing evidence involving Amanda and Raffaele, without there being any legal representation for Amanda or Raffaele. We all know this, the facts are there for all to see. All you need to do is read the MR's to know this. That you refuse to acknowledge this is not surprising, but it's still reality.

LOL nice try. But utterly ridiculous. The police destroyed all of them. Oh and computer experts knew - and know - that the contents of the fried drives were relatively easy to read using advanced software and hardware techniques. As Sollecito most probably knew as well.

ETA: And how on earth did Sollecito know when he went to the police HQ for his "interview" on the night of 5th Nov that he and Knox were going to arrested and imprisoned from then onwards. In other words, how did he know when was the right time to fry Knox's laptop (which she'd provably been using right up to that night? And even more to the point, how did he gauge that this was the right time to fry Romanelli's laptop? How did he know that Romanelli was not going to use her laptop from the night of the 5th Nov onwards? Your "claim" falls flat on its face, Vixen.

ETA2: Evidence for the claim that Sollecito's father "had to ring him up six times a day to check on what he was up to"? Thought not.
One other point. Knowing how to fry a hard drive is NOT something people typically learn. I was an IT professional for over 42 years before retiring. I wouldn't have a clue how to fry it. For one, getting a hard drive out of a laptop is not trivial. Second, once it's out you need to know the specifics of the interface to know where to apply power. And lastly, you'd need a DC power supply to generate the shock. I could possibly kill the hard drive in my laptop, but it would take a very long time to figure out how. And once you 'think' you've killed it, you'd have to reinstall and turn the computer on to see if you got it correct. To suggest Raffaele was able to perform this on three laptops is to be truly ignorant of just how difficult this would be for someone like Raffaele.

As for Filomena's laptop... did she not try to use it after she was allowed to remove it from the cottage on the 2nd? At the moment, I don't really know the answer to that, but I have to believe she did. If I assume she did, then exactly when did Raffaele commit this sabotage of her drive?

I must apologise for using an example of Fair Market Value from Taxation Law in valuing property as the concept I was trying to convey about close friends and relatives. I obviously didn't succeed, my bad. Try again. 'Teacher, dog ate my homework'. Little brother: 'That's right miss, I saw the dog do it'. Now, this doesn't have the same level of credibility as, third party random stranger passerby, 'That is correct, I saw a dog, a fluffy grey-brown cockerpoo that did toss about an A4 notepad, ripping it to bits, with the headed paper, 'Homework'".
First you tried the "spousal privilege" route, failing to realize they were not married, nor were they testifying against each other. Once that was pointed out, you shift to 'Plan B'... she was "just doin what my boyfriend wants me to say" tactic. This is just pathetic.

This entire event happened well before Meredith's murder, so Guede was a nobody at the time. There would be no reason for Christian to be identifying Guede except that he clearly witnessed him as he confronted him. Christian didn't need his girlfriend to back his account, but she was there and she did see Guede. That you continue to denigrate anyone who reported something that even remotely assists with the defense's case (Popovic, Alteri, etc.) while relentlessly trying to defending Guede at every turn proves your claim of being "impartial, neutral and entirely objective" is a complete joke.

Dalla Vedova telling ECHR Knox retracted her accusation really doesn't have the same weight as the criminal court verdict that fancy prose didn't hide the fact she committed the crime, after a new trial weighing up the merits of her case and after hearing counsel from all parties. Knox wasn't the only party in this case. There is her victim, Lumumba, who also had a right to expect justice and for his human rights not to be falsely accused of rape and murder to be respected.
It's amusing that you, Vixen, fail to credit the ECHR judges with the ability and activity of having read the documents of the case in the process of forming their judgment. The inadequate reasoning of your post is truly laughable.

They were specific questions from forum members, that you claimed to have answered. But now it seems that you are unable to say where these answers are.
I answered both TruthCalls re ENFSI and SpitfireIX re the missing bit on the bathmat. AmyStrange is just trolling when he says I didn't. Have a go at AmyStrange for misleading you.

Yeah, I'm the one misleading people... bwahahahahahaha... thanks for the laugh and for helping to prove me right again.

Yup. It's ridiculous and ironic that Vixen doesn't seem to recognise/accept that the ECHR had access to exactly the same information, documentation and testimony that the convicting courts had. The only thing the ECHR didn't have was the visual appearance and tone of voice of those giving court testimony (but then the appeal court and SC panel didn't have access to that either). And the ECHR had more than enough information to reach a reasoned adjudication that Knox's criminal slander conviction was unlawful, and that Italy must apply a just and lawful remedy (which it's so far failed miserably to do).

This has to be one of the most outlandish, outrageous and most preposterous of all the cuckoo left field curve ball conspiracy theories of all: the IT forensic police not only fried the laptops themselves, they then wrote up a report stating they were fried, presented it in a Criminal Court of Law under oath and committed criminal perjury! All, presumably because they were in thrall to Mignini. In the real world these IT boffs are the geekiest, nerdiest, brainiest, literally minded, straighht forward asperger's types you could meet. No way did they fiddle the results to please Mignini! Outrageous!

Sollecito and Knox planned their devilish stunt in advance, hence the ripped out pages of her October diary and the downloading of Wonderful World of Amèlie in advance (28 Oct). That is why AK carried a knife in her bag to the apartment for when MK arrived home and the anime graphic book 'Blood Last of the Vampires was used as the theme. Kokomani saw the three of them by the bins stoned out of their boxes lying in wait for Mez to arrive home. RS being a nerdy geeky type, was deeply anxious after the crime and went to superhuman lengths to conceal his presence, hence the large bottles of ACE bleach, dismantling of the U-bend in his kitchen, bucket full of used latex gloves, auto P2P naruto download, switched off phones, spying on the cottage from Grimana Piazza as seen by Curatalo. So AK ripped up her fantasy notes and RS wiped hers and his PC's to destroy the hard drive data. He wiped MK's and FR's the same time to allay suspicion if it was only his and AK's. Left his student studies PC intact. The sandstone/limestone mini-boulder was all part of the wheeze, together with scattering Filomena's stuff about her room - this would be something AK has done before at WSU 'for a laugh'. The icing on the cake was seeing Guede's faeces in the toilet unflushed and his shoeprints in the hallway, left unmopped. Getting Dad to say his leak happened before 8:40. RS had it all sussed.

And yet Knox and Sollecito were stupid enough to join themselves to the crime by pointing out Sollecito's blood/water footprint on the bathmat (per your "argument"). Riiiiiiight
Yes, Leopold and Loeb were considered brilliant. Jody Arias thought she got away with it. Kohberger had been planning his crime since the previous July/August. Yes, they all erred and left behind a clue. RS being short-sighted and in the dim November light probably didn't notice how clear his footprint on the mat was.

Nope. Wrong. That would be everything you've ever posted in this thread.

I find it ironic, that you can see the lies told by the fat clown, but not your own.

I have hope that someday you'll come to your senses, but I'm not holding my breath.

No, it didn't. Dalla Vedova submitted the MR of Boninsegna, which was a different case of calunnia all together, this time against the cops. Boninsegna was not the presiding judge. Had Dalla Vedova submitted the salient judgment in support, it would have been thrown out.

You mean distance, like not going back to the apartment at all?

Exactly. As you say, if Knox and Sollecito had indeed participated in the murder, and if they then wanted to distance themselves from the crime, they had the perfect inbuilt reason to do so: they'd already planned (and told people about it) to go to Gubbio that day. It would have been totally plausible for Knox just to have gone back to the cottage for a quick clothes change and freshen-up - or she could even have taken a change of clothes and toiletries/makeup/etc back to Sollecito's after the mythical "clean up" during the night). They could then have driven straight to Gubbio by 10am or so, and could have stayed there all day.

Once again, Vixen's logic is as laughable as her scientific and jurisprudence illiteracy.
