Can you imagine the frenzy the 2nd amendment gun huggers would be in if Obama or Biden had done this: Armed forces under direct presidential control, seizing control of the streets of the nation's capital? They're staring directly into the jaws of the leopard and telling themselves this is fine.

Has Trump's power peaked yet? he got the militia show in DC, and he has put aside a lot of money to pay governors to have national guard march aroung with ICE. But so what? It is all fo show. Until someone gets shot.

It matches the placement of a similar bruise on his right hand, which has been visible for months. This time, the mark wasn’t covered with makeup. His right hand, however, appeared to be carefully concealed again—likely with cosmetics, as in previous sightings.

Trump has been accused of “abusing his power” and “manufacturing a crisis” by deploying National Guard troops over the weekend to Chicago, mirroring their controversial deployment in Washington, D.C. But he brushed off criticism, saying, “Chicago’s a mess. You have an incompetent mayor. Grossly incompetent.”

On Sunday’s Fox and Friends, Campos-Duffy, wife of Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, came out on Trump’s side, calling the deployment of the National Guard “customer service.”

(CNN) — Democrats on the House Oversight Committee are decrying what they say is a lack of new records in the Jeffrey Epstein files that the Justice Department provided to the panel Friday.

“Only 3% of the documents given to the Oversight Committee are new. The rest are already in the public domain. Less than 1% of files have been released. DOJ is stonewalling,” Rep. Ro Khanna of California said in a statement Saturday as he called for the full release of the files.

Rep. Summer Lee of Pennsylvania in a statement also claimed that the DOJ’s files are “largely thousands of pages of recycled content already made available to the public.”

President Trump to crack down on flag burning, desecration with executive order

The executive order will direct the attorney general to prosecute those who violate laws "in ways that involve desecrating the flag," and to pursue litigation that would clarify the scope of the First Amendment as it relates to flag desecration. The order additionally directs Attorney General Pam Bondi to refer flag desecration cases that violate state and local laws to appropriate local authorities.
