Cuomo defeated in NYC Democratic Mayoral Primary

LOL. Yes, to men it's quite relevant that a 33 year-old man can't lift that puny weight. That's a weakling and I'd have no interest in voting for weak men. While some Democrats will probably vote for this socialist soy boy, their wives and their wives' boyfriends are going with Cuomo or Adams.
Someone really took those Charles Atlas ads to heart.

This might be the dumbest thing you could say. What does physical strength have to do with governing? NOTHING!

I won't vote for intellectual weaklings. I'll take someone with a doctorate in physics, engineering, biology, medicine etc, as opposed to someone who benches 250 or 50 pounds.

You can read the weight. It's 45 pounds per side, assuming nothing is behind the one shown. That's 90 pounds assuming you don't weigh the bar. The bar is expected to weigh about another 44.

Of course standards vary and trained lifters can lift a whole lot, but here's one link I found:

eta got the wrong page....

And of course political tastes differ, as I'm sure does distance from the white-hot center of the manosphere, but some of us would rather our candidates had tofu in their stomachs than between their ears.

You post this with no smilies, so you must be serious. Pathetic really.

This whole entire time I thought Trausti was someone's genuine posting style. Amazing that it took this long for me to realize he's somebody doing a bit. That's dedication. But that last post is just too far into self-parody. Nobody but a teenage Andrew Tate fan would say such a thing and mean it, and Trausti is, ostensibly, an adult.

Yep, that's what I was trying to get from the critic: the total weight is 134 pounds which is entirely respectable for a man that size who doesn't lift weights.

Strange reason to call for Trump's resignation but okay

Come on guys, feats of strength are the best way to choose a leader, now that is conservatism!

I'm man and I can honestly say I've never even considered the ability of a politican to bench press anything when I vote.
I tend to look at silly things like their ability to do their job and proven qualities in earlier parts of their career.

But enlighten me, maybe the US is different. What part of the job of major of New York city involves bench pressing?

By this standard most if not all of our Founding Fathers were "weak men" and therefore had no business being in positions of power.

I wouldn't be surprised if perceived manliness has an impact at the margins of voting, I'm fairly surprised to read someone say it out loud. Sure, joking about any possible weakness of a candidate sure, but actually saying, I'm not going to vote for a guy who can't lift 134lbs. Really? Should we also measure dicks and see how far they can piss?
