This isn't my fight but I think your post is unsporting: You attack someone who agrees with you for introducing another angle to the discussion. Maybe you think aesthetics don't matter but there is no reason they wouldn't: How people present themselves affects the tone of any confrontation. Read some of the comments and ask yourself if they would be so glowing had these been two ice agents. Which will eventually happen.

Something similar happened in October, with an Idaho State Senator telling a Native American candidate to "go back where she came from".
I remember it happening several years ago too, but the October one is dominating searches.

It's as if someone decried the image of goose-stepping Nazis and someone else answered, "That's your main gripe with Nazis? The way they walk?" That's a straw man.

ICE dress and tactics can be both unprofessional and designed to intimidate. Hercules56 said it was impossible to identify the agents by uniform or badges. Not being a mindreader, I don't if that was an "afterthought" or something he planned to say all along. I would have added that the face coverings and lack of uniforms or badges contribute to a lack of accountability.

You wrote, "They look like what they are, government hired racist vigilantes." First, how do they "look" government hired? They could be private groups kidnapping people for ransom. That's a thing that happens. And by definition, if they are working with government authority, they are *not* vigilantes.

There could even be false-flag faked atrocities - though I don't think there will be. Someone could claim the fence was electrified and prove it by showing video of fence-climbers falling dead to the ground. His followers would believe it and applaud it. The administration might even take credit.

When Dems control Congress again they need to pass a new law requiring ALL Federal law enforcement agents wear an obvious looking uniform, not cover their faces and have written on their uniform their agency and badge number.

ONLY undercover agents on undercover assignment should be able to conceal their identity.
 
The videos of people being dragged off the street have the potential to sour the public on how immigration enforcement is handled. Ideally some viewers will be "conservatives" of an old-fashioned type (but most of them are dead), independents or simply non-MAGA conservatives who don't get boners from seeing people's heads slammed to the ground, or folks getting leaned on with a knee to the neck while lying facedown and handcuffed.

A large number of people won't see such videos at all. Of those who do, many will accept what they're told about them: that the people being dragged off are dangerous criminals. Some will believe such videos to be fake, either through "computers" or if the footage is real it's from a different incident than the one described.

You cannot enlighten people who don't want to see it.

He is wheelchair bound—after suffering severe injury during training for deployment in Iraq.

Agents arrested him at his naturalization hearing—he is already green card holder who has been living legally in U.S. for over 25 years.

Muhammad Zahid Chaudhry has been awarded multiple medals for his service:

Lots of claims he's a wanted criminal in Australia and his application for the USA was fraudulent.
